Had a 25+ year old knife block and decided it was time to replace it. Saw a great deal on this set and decided to try it. Great variety of knives - has everything I would need plus steak knives which were an added bonus. You don’t realize how dull your current knives are until you replace them. I cut chicken and it cut like butter. I have used maybe 4 of the knives so far and they are all amazingly smooth and sharp. The serrated cuts a bagel with ease and evenly. These knives look great on my counter & are razor sharp right out of the box. I've used them constantly for a few months already & they are still as sharp as the first day I used them. If they do start to get dull, there is a built in sharpener on the block. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I didn't have to spend a lot to get a good quality, sharp knife. Read more
