The best knives.. EVER! They are one solid piece so no wiggly handles or trapped water. They come sharp and stay sharp with proper use. The wood block is attractive and the sharpener works great. I’m very pleased with this knife set! I ordered this as a new set because the last set of knives I had didn’t last very well (and were admittedly cheap) but I’ve had this newer set for several months now and I’m very pleased! They came packaged securely and I appreciated the extra plastic blade guard piece included for the knives to protect them (and for added safety). I specifically wanted bright red/scarlet to match the rest of my kitchen decor and it matches perfectly! I prefer to hand wash my knives as opposed to loading them in the dishwasher, which from my understanding is more ideal for cutlery anyway. I think this helps prevent the likelihood of rusting and color loss too, but so far the bright red color and quality of the knives have endured! The knives are VERY sharp so I haven’t even had to use the built in sharpener yet (which I really appreciate as a feature of this set altogether by the way).
