cheap, horrible customer service

I purchased a KitchenSmith Immersion Blender for $19.95 01/29/20 and actually found it wonderful to mix my bread starter, also known as "mother" or "grog". I guess you could take one wisk of a standard mixer to mix inside a quart jar, but this unit did the trick once a week while it worked. It was also was quite effective with the blade attachment in pulverizing cherry and grape tomatoes in a stock pot while it worked. The problem is that one of the two plastic clips that hold the attachments wore out and then the attachments would just fly off whenever. I have used packing tape since to hold the attachments on but did file a claim for the 2 year warrantee. I gave them all the requested information, pictures, everything on 11/25/21 and got an auto response saying I would hear from then in a day or two... NOTHING, heard nothing and after 60 days I sent again, got an auto response and then a few days later request for another copy of the receipt. They claimed my target receipt was not sufficient so I went to target and they sent an email verifying the purchase, but that was not sufficient. Bella Houseware Customer Service is IMPOSIBLE!!! So I cannot recommend this product... even though it worked while it worked... I suggest you spend your hard earned money elsewhere!!! Read more

Cheap product. An internal component must have broke or chipped and a sharp chip of metal fell out of the handle. This could easily make it into food without being seen. Read more
