I’d been feeling congested and hacking up loogies which is unusual for me. I saw a YouTube about similar devices. Remember in the hospital they had me use a gadget to blow a ball up to help clear after surgery. Figured what the heck. Give this a try to increase lung capacity and clear crud. The first two attempts got light headed. Laughed at myself for trying too hard. Plus, breathing in through my mouth not nose. Not helpful. Now, I wear the device on my neck most days and throughout the day wear it. Inhale through my nose and on the tight setting exhale through my mouth slow and steady. I’ve had less congestion. My breathing feels easier. Clear. The flu seasons been nasty for a lot of people. I’ve made sure to keep this gadget active to help keep fluids from building. Plus, use while on the treadmill to add to my lung workout. Size, quality, ease of cleaning, and storage are simple. I rinse at night and hang in the bathroom ready to wear the next day. I know there’s more expensive options. But for me am happy with a basic model to assist my lungs and keeping myself clear and I’ve noticed a slight improvement in my inhale exhale pattern. I’ve considered this a start. And ca always buy the next model to expand even more. Read more
I was requested to purchase a spirometer by my doctor after developing RSV and having breathing issues. I found this and use it daily. I like that it's compact but the strap makes it easy to keep on me. And it cleans easily as well. Read more
I got this for my autistic son. We have him do breathing exercises to calm him down and this helps. I’m surprised how well it has held up to him as on occasion he has chewed on it. Read more
So, I have been tired of the wheezing and morning mucus spitting. Lack of exercise probably contributes to it. I'm 59 and in decent shape but I was looking to strengthen my lung capacity and "wahla", this product came up. I thought i'de try the least expensive one. Start out breathing into it normally. You don't want to faint or blow a blood vessel, so take it easy. Go about a week just inhaling and exhaling as far as your lungs allow. Try not to breath through your nose. I've noticed a good feeling in my lungs, refreshed feeling and my wheezing is going away. It's part of my morning routine. I just walk around breathing through this while I make coffee etc.. The mouth piece seems to fit good. What a great product for around $10. Read more

This is a review of the Portable Compact Lung Trainer Exercise Device with High Grade Silicone, Breathing Exercise Device for Lungs, Portable Muscle Trainer, Easy to Clean, Neck Strap Included, (Green-1). I received this product free of charge to share my product experiences with Amazon customers to help them make informed buying decisions. This is an honest review from a real person. I didn’t pay for the item, so I will only comment on the apparent quality and utility, not on the value. Prices fluctuate regularly and I always recommend shopping around and comparing what’s available to get your best deal on the date you decide to buy. I’ve never used one of these before, so I thought I’d give it a try on my daily walks. I’m not looking for anything spectacular, I’m not an athlete and I’m not training for some event. I just wanted to try it and see if I could impact my breathing power. Here’s what I’ve found: It has a silicone mouthpiece that’s easy to remove and clean (I like to drop mine in a cleaning solution I use for a medical device). The thing comes with an attached neck strap, which makes it convenient to carry without having to hold it the entire time I’m on my walk. Adjusting the resistance is as easy as turning the end of the device. It literally is like twisting the cap on the end of a pipe. Pretty easy. Good thing, because it came with no instructions. One month into using it (20+ times) and I haven’t noticed any difference in my lung strength, but again, I’m not punishing myself to try to improve. I did have some stomach (diaphragm?) pain after my first couple of times I used it, but now I don’t, so maybe it is working.
