Well to start I will say that I am a long time stove top espresso coffee maker. I have tried many different types of stove top makers and can honestly recommend to always stick with stainless steel. That given, I also recommend the length and width of whatever maker you choose that you can fit your hand in it to clean it (some makers have narrow tops and wide bottoms that make it difficult to clean). This maker meets all the criteria! It's stainless steel so unlike aluminum it won't turn color. It has a wide opening so your hand fits to clean. As an attractive faux wood handle that stays cool to touch. I bought the larger size. The only complaint I have is that it isn't larger. If you're like me, I mix half and half milk and coffee. I wanted stainless steel because I no longer trust aluminum for anything. Makes a fast, yummy cup of espresso. Great for a single use, or 1 and a half to be fair. I had a bigger one, was actually looking for the two person one, but this is great for just me. Also a sexy sleek little unit. I love well designed kitchen ware, and that faux wooden handle is gorgeous, amazing, and never needs a mitt. Read more

I’ve had this moka pot for nearly a year. It works perfectly well on an induction cooktop as advertised, but as others have noted, it’s only the exterior that is stainless steel. The interior appears to be aluminum and must be hand washed. This doesn’t bother me, but my complaints are that it often doesn’t seal correctly, likely due to the silicone gasket provided. Hot water will sometimes leak out of the sides while brewing. Also, the bottom reservoir has a sharp edge on the inside lip and I have cut myself trying to clean it before.
