These rods seem pretty stable and worked so well in our closet reno. I needed a little help getting the ends steady to measure for hanging but once I had the holes placed it was easy to hang and line up. The piping seems strong and is holding my son’s shirts well. Read more

The closets in our 1910 house are only 13" deep, so I wanted a way to extend my hanging clothes storage. My wall studs didn't match up with where I wanted to hang it, so following others' recommendations, I screwed a board into the wall at the studs, then screwed the hanger bar into the board. I installed this six or eight months ago, and although I keep it pretty maxed out with clothing, I haven't seen any signs of sagging or pulling away from the wall. This baby is sturdy! The bar itself also looks nice and would fit in with an industrial design style. I'll eventually paint or stain the board to match the room decor. Read more
