Industrial Pipe Clothes Rack Wall Mounted Black Iron Garment Bar Multi-Purpose Hanging Rod for Closet Storage Black

Bought almost 4 years ago and didn't review at the time. Recently I bought several others similar on Amazon - the reason I didn't buy this again was simply due to width/dimensions for my new spaces, but after being super disappointed by others I felt it was fair to come back and review this. Basically 2 other manufacturers / models that I bought on Amazon are using same pipes for "vertical" units however they are mixing other / thinner pipes as horizontal units, and using thin screws / bolts to attach them to the vertical pieces and they break or bend before even installing to the wall! So I went back and looked inside my closet to make sure I wasn't crazy, and yes sure enough this unit is different - all pipes of this unit, both vertical and horizontal are actual pipes that thread into each other.. making very sturdy connections. Again just wish they expand their operations as to making wider / double / triple units.. I have the gold color btw as the thing is inside a closed closet and covered with clothes so I don't care what paint color it is. But yea, well made.. Read more

I got this after having a bad experience with a similar item that had just one rail as appose to theses two rails. That one fell off the wall almost immediately as opposed to this one that is super sturdy and you drill it into the ground. I got my super to install it for me and he did it by himself pretty quickly and said he was impressed at how sturdy it was too. It is SO attractive, the gold is gorgeous and I personally love having my clothes on show in my bedroom I know others prefer to have them hidden but its personal preference. These pipes went in so smoothly the only thing that I would recommend is getting your own anchors. The ones that come with the kit are weak if you are just installing into drywall. Read more

Love these. I have small closets and needed more room to hang clothes. I was able to use these to turn a small spare bedroom into a large walk-in closet. We put boards up and secured them to the wall studs and then attached the units to the boards; this made them very sturdy and easy to remove. We also ran boards across the top and bottom rungs to make extra shelves to store shoes & purses. Now my clothes are neat and organized. Highly recommended! Read more

I bought this as an extension of my closet and it holds a ton of clothes all while looking great! I also bought thin pink hangers so it would all coordinate since the clothes are technically on display and not hidden behind a closet door. It just makes it more aesthetically pleasing to look at. The only downside is if you have baseboard moldings then the bottom part of it won’t fit flush against the wall. Wasn’t a big deal to me tho. Read more

So I’m just finally getting around to fully assembling this and I will tell you why. I ordered this I love the quality, but if you’re like me your baseboards may be too high. I was unable to install it when it arrived because if I had I would’ve only been able to screw in two of the bottom screws into the baseboard and the other two would not have been flushed the wall. I searched for a long time to find something that would work. I eventually got the idea to use furniture risers. It was a matter of finding ones that would actually fit the base of this rack. Now that I have used these furniture risers I was able to install it and secure it flat to the wall above the baseboard. So far so good!
