Organizing dog training equipment is a never ending story, and that story has been well served by the black iron pipe decor trend of the last several years! This straight pipe looked a little lightweight compared to other pieces I have, but once installed it matched perfectly and is more than sturdy enough to do the job of holding specialty leashes and long lines. It’s honestly so sturdy, I considered putting them both up and adding a board for shelving, but I needed long lines storage more than another shelf. The pieces appear to be painted metal rather than true iron pipe. They don’t have the heft to them, which makes them a lot easier to work with. The included screws match perfectly and they don’t strip when installed, and these were installed on a thick piece of exterior wood that tends to resist screws. We are too lazy to fold clothes to put away in our dressers. Instead, we hang everything. The result, our closet hanging rods are stuffed full of clothes. The solution: These awesome pipe hanging rods. The design we ordered is simply a pack of two hanger 'pegs' with a screw-in base for wall mounting. We already have "boho farmhouse" vintage industrial-ish fixtures all throughout our house. So these vintage cast iron-looking pipes poking out of the wall fit right in. They look and feel heavy-duty and vintage. We hang them anywhere that rods with clothes hanging off will not look too unsightly, okay so mostly in our laundry and utility rooms. We also hung some on the top interior of our closet doors, where the wood is thick and strong enough to hold them, and where we don't risk them smashing us in the head. When the bars are screwed into the base, they are very sturdy and tight. The rods are well made, and because the base is attached to the wall in with four screws, the entire weight of loaded-down bars is distributed, and no single screw absorbs all the weight. While some other designs have several bumps installed to help keep clothes hangers separated, these do not have any bumps, which means we can actually hang a few more clothes hangers. I’m unsure why the listings were blended; but I’ll review the item I received nonetheless. Solid, industrial steel design with good caps and a sturdy metal base. The threads were clean enough to get both caps on easily. Together they look great as additional clothes hangers. A simple three piece design with some serious rustic flare. I’ve mounted them both in a cabin trimmed with black metal accents (grates, AC, plugs, etc.) and they look fantastic. With four small screws to mount them they also perform fantastic. For some quick industrial pipe hanging points, will be hard to beat the price of these as well as knowing everything will fit and no oil (like you would get from Lowe's, HD and the like). Pieces came all individually packaged and looked pristine upon removal. Comes with wall anchors for all eight mounting points. I think this is overkill, I will mount to a stud so will just use two in a vertical line. Might cut other screws to just the head and glue in place for a more complete look. Only minor complaint is the "3/4" stamping on the cap, could have done without that, or put it on the side so it was not so prominent. Read more
