Years ago, I bought a blow dryer like this one. I am glad I went back to this style. Excellent blow dryer, easy to hold and maneuver, and my hair took just a few minutes to dry. It was so nice to be able to blow dry and comb my hair at the same time rather than having to use both hand. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a good blow dryer. Read more

This dryer is waaaay better compared to the original one, it's not even a comparison. Good for them (and me) for upgrading. It's more awesome for a couple reasons, the comb attachments DON'T come off super easily, even if you go over say one tangle you missed, it's there securely to stay. This is by far the best feature on here, the lock feature. Although I will add I only use the detangling comb and honestly I could care less about the other two combs, this one does the job right the first time so I don't really see the point in using the other two, even though I think the brush is more for styling I guess. I've super thick hair and when I used the regular conair 1875 it took forever to blow dry my hair and the attachments came off with one single comb-through no matter how much I detangled it beforehand, it was extremely annoying and I dreaded blow drying my hair after a wash for that very reason. Now I can get it done twice as quickly because this comb is super strong and secure whereas it won't even budge, even a little. I used it today and got it done way faster than usual! Also I've noticed I didn't lose nearly as much loose hair while/after I was done, it's like the comb helps with the breakage. Anyway this blow dryer is awesome, especially if you have ethnic hair this will do the trick. Yeah it's a little more pricier than the other one but totally worth it, I'm super glad I tried it. I usually don't even leave reviews because I'm too lazy or I never feel like it but I decided to do one for this product, it really deserves it. haha I didnt even mean to make it this long but oh well Read more

I have been using the INFINITIPRO by Conair for over 18 years. My old dryer still works, but I dropped it and the filter screen broke off. Also, I cannot use the low heat now. That's why I purchased a new one. I have baby fine hair and it will get very frizzy if I use a regular blow dryer. The INFINITIPRO leaves my hair straight and with a little more volume. Most dryers that I have purchased in the past have only lasted a few years, but this thing has been going strong for nearly 20 years. Some have commented on a slight burning smell and my dryer has always had a bit of a smell, but other than that, it has been a great dryer. Hopefully my new dryer will last as long as the old one. This dryer does exactly what it's supposed to do and dry your hair. How useful it is to you is going to depend on the type of hair you have though. I found that the comb it came with (the larger tooth) was kind of tough to move through my hair at times where it was thicker. I supposed it's both a good and bad thing. Good because the attachment design is strong and sturdy compared to other models like this. It's bad because it's not the friendliest for people with thick hair. I'd be very happy if there were some aftermarket attachment accessories for this model but I doubt there are. Another thing about the dryer is that it just has a hot high and low setting and warm high and low setting. I kind of wish there was a "medium" temperature setting in between but they do give you "Hot-low or High and Warm low or high, settings. I mean it's a medium setting but an odd way of doing it. It's cumbersome at first but you'll get used to it once you fumble around with it enough to find the temperature you want. I do actually have one complaint about it and that's the power cord. It's too short and I pulled it out the socket a couple of times and I wasn't that far away but that seems to be a universal hair dryer problem. The plus I will give them is that the dryer does have a test and reset button on the hair dryer. So if you blow an outlet you can test and reset the plug. As for the dryer and its longevity itself it feels durable enough and I hope it last but who knows with how things are made these days. If I can get a few years out of it I'd feel it was money worth spending. Read more

I purchased this for my thick, curly, natural hair. The comb attachment on my old dryer was on its last teeth and I was looking for a ceramic blow dryer to replace it. My old dryer was pretty expensive, but I decided to give this one a try and it was well worth the money! I was highly skeptical at first of the attachments, especially the brush. Having used this type of dryer in the past, usually my hair yanks the attachments right off. These stayed put and the bristles on the brush were stiff enough to get through my curls (I still have to separate my hair into about 8 sections to blow dry- the dryer is good, not magic) . I started at the ends with the brush and then use the comb attachments for the roots and it quickly got my hair very straight. The three heat settings and speed settings are also a nice addition, too. I would happily recommend this dryer. Read more

I love this blow dryer. This is the second one I’ve purchased. It lasts for years and years. This one comes with attachable to make styling your hair and drying your hair at the same time so much easier. One tool does it all. I highly recommend this! I use the straightener feature and my hair dries quickly and looks smooth and silky. I’m obsessed! Read more

I use this thing just about daily. I like how easy it is to put on and remove attachments, and the hot setting is nice and hot. The bristle brush is very nice for a straightening effect and it's the attachment I use the most. It's not very heavy so my arm doesn't get fatigued from using it, even if it's been a little while. I will say, it's loud, but that doesn't really bother me because it's not so loud that it hurts my ears. Still, big fan of what it's done for me so far. Read more
