The media could not be loaded. My niece had the really cute idea of having the kids hunt Easter eggs in inflatable costumes, like chickens or unicorns and such. I got this one for my daughter. It was easy to set up and super cute! You wouldn’t think that caterpillars like Easter eggs, but this one was ravenous for them! Imagine how many it would’ve gotten without my daughter slowing it down! The fit was adult sized. It fit a 5’6” 120 lb. It was plenty roomy for an adult. The material was light but not cheap. Putting it on was easy. There was a cinch to tighten it. It took barely a minute to fill. Needs batteries. My daughter had the MOST fun! It was cute, colorful, comfortable, and lasted much longer than many other costumes there. It never gave out. Got this to wear to a concert as part of my Alice in Wonderland costume. I actually won the costume contest in this!!! I dressed in my Alice dress and it looked like I was riding the caterpillar. My friends were the white rabbit, mad hatter, Cheshire Cat, red queen, a card and tweedledee and tweedledum. I'm also planning on wearing him to my niece’s class as chaperone for costume day- he will make a fantastic hungry hungry caterpillar too! Looks very cool and the green and yellow parts of the caterpillar really glowed nicely in the blacklight so it got a ton of attention and compliments. Perfect for a kid's glow party too, carnival, parades, mascots or Halloween. I'm 5'4" tall 176 lbs and I was worried this might be a bit too tall for me but it was perfect. The box says that it should work for people between 5'3" to 6'3". I thought I might not be able to dance in it because in the ad picture the legs look like they don't go up all the way so I was worried I might trip, but the legs fit fine and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I could dance and move in this costume. It does take up a lot of space, though. It's very lightweight, I mean of course it is, it's inflatable, but it doesn't feel bulky. Even in a large crowd I didn't have too much trouble maneuvering. The caterpillar's head has a string around it like reigns so you can pretend to ride it. Kids absolutely love it. Seeing their little faces light up with pure joy when they see this costume is just so awesome! This costume comes with everything you need: The inflatable costume itself, a battery box (that needs 4 AA batteries to work, batteries are NOT included), a drawstring bag to store everything in (the costume packs down very small and is easy to store), a user manual and a blower fan, which is lightweight too and works well. The costume might be great, but the one I received was broken so I couldn’t try it. I put 4 AA batteries in the battery pack, per the instructions. The little fan started blowing and the costume started to inflate. But the fan shut off after a minute. Turns out there was a loose connection somewhere in the wire between the battery pack and fan. I could wiggle it and occasionally get it to start blowing again, but eventually it stopped completely. Never did finish inflating. When the package arrived, it looked like the costume barely fit in the box and had been taped shut, as if it had been sold and returned once before. Besides the fact that this one was defective, I didn’t like the fact that the fan has to keep running continuously to keep the costume inflated. Didn’t realize this when I ordered it. Only discovered after reading the instructions. So I didn’t bother trying to replace it. Read more
