Perfect for my tween. Glad that they have smaller sizes for my very petite daughter. These are comfortable and effective, easy to use, easy to clean, and very well-made. These will last my daughter until she outgrows them. I'm surprised at how heavy my daughter's flow is, but these work well for her. They are so much easier than having to carry and use pads, especially for my ADHD daughter, who struggles with executive functioning. I don't have to worry about her remembering to change her pad during the school day, or having leaks. For PE days (first period of the day), if it's a heavy flow day, she can use a pad, then just remove it when she needs to, and still have adequate protection for the rest of the day. They also work well overnight, since the padded area goes from the front waistband, all the way to the back waistband. The fit is snug, but not tight, and hold in place well. To wash, I do a pre-rinse, then a full wash. There is no odor, no shrinkage, and no reduction in absorbency. These are a great value. Read more
My daughter is slim in the hips and legs, so these fit her a tad larger than expected; which makes them good for girls who are a fuller shape. I can't comment on functionality yet. My impression is that these will help give protection against leakage, but may not be completely protective. Experience will tell. One of my concerns is lack of breathability in the crotch; but obviously, that would be expected from a moisture barrier. As I have told my child, these are to be worn during menstrual days or times when leakage prevention in public or social situations is most important. If worn regularly, irritation, rash, a fungal problem or infection may occur - just common sense awareness. These will work well under most clothing; however, they aren't going to work well under swimsuits. The cut is larger than most swimsuits, since most swimsuits are cut high. My daughter was worried about these looking like "big grandma panties" but was pleasantly surprised that they fit like girl's standard briefs. They are briefs, not bikinis. The fabric appears to be durable. One other thing that my daughter would prefer would be for the liner in the crotch to be skin tone or white, rather than black...even oatmeal or light grey would be better than black. I'm thinking that the maker chose black to mask the color of blood in cases of leakage. It's just a little odd because the black shows through the light colored panties. Read more
I’m wearing them right now. So far so good! I wanted to get some for my daughter but then decided I should test the different brands first. And when searching I realized that many period panties are sold for “leakage” and you still need to wear a pad or tampon. Which makes no sense to me. So these are true period panties. I like the lighter outer color so I can see if it ever did leak through. I don’t know how much the pad part will poof up more once washed and dried. But it’s not bad the way it is now. Feels like a pad would with extra cushioning. I don’t wear tight thin clothes where I would be worried about any seams or thickness showing through. Read more
My daughter loves these. She says that they’re really comfortable to wear. I love how convenient these are to ensure a little sense of security. Read more
DO NOT BUY!!!! First time my daughter wore them they leaked through the back and side crotch area, and this was while she was wearing a pad. Read more
My teen daughter has been trialing period underwear for a couple years and has 4 or 5 brands. These are her new preferred ones. She is particular about comfort, seams, softness, etc and these check the boxes. They are especially helpful during her first day which tends to be very heavy. These are fairly slim and smooth and don't show under her clothes. These are quality, functional underwear. Read more
I got these for my daughter. I got the smallest I possibly could because she is a very lean young lady. They fit a little big but I think it’s mostly because she’s so skinny. They work really well. I do think they absorb a lot. She’s even able to wear these on her off day because they’re so comfy. The colors are really nice. And I actually prefer the colors over like a black so that you can see if there’s been a bleed through or not. Three is a good amount however, if you are going to be exclusively using these for your menstrual cycle then I would recommend getting way more than that. But this was a good way to try these out and we are very happy with them. Read more
