This player is great. The parental controls are a very nice addition. I am able to control what apps are allowed on the player and also able to prevent resetting the device without my parental pin that I decide. Instructions are easy to understand. Bluetooth is able to connect to any devices smoothly. Download speed is average in my opinion. And the sound quality of the built in speaker is adequate. It gets loud enough. Updated Review: Amazing customer service from this seller! Helped resolve our issue quickly. It turns out our charging issue was due to using a USB-C to USB-C charging cable when in fact these are only compatable with USB to USB-C cable. They offered great assistance with troubleshooting and were ready to make it right if it didnt work. The mp3 player itself is great, we just use it for our kiddo for spotify and everything works great so far- though it has much more capability with wifi if you choose to use other apps and such. Great when we first got them but I should have done some more research so I am putting it here. We got these for our kids and a Segway into the device world so they could have music on their own in their rooms and use the kindle/audible app. Apps are easy to remove but very difficult to put back on, have to reset it, not a huge deal but a pain. My kids each set their own password and one of them randomly got locked out of theirs and could not get back in (we wrote the password down and know it was the right one) took two days for tech support to respond to help. NOW kindle app stopped working cause it needs to be updated and I have no idea how to do it. I have reached out to the manufacturer and have not received a response. I have delved in to the depths of google play and other apps stores to try and figure it out but there is no answer any where. This is the third MP3 player I have got for my kids. I wanted something that was iTunes compatible. This is the only thing that I could find that has the iTunes app. It has a lot of great features. However it says it’s easy and has parental controls yet I find there was no way for me to block the Internet or add a profile like setting as you would for Amazon fire for kids. It’s just too easy for them to get in and change and find anything they can get on the Internet if you have Wi-Fi connected and like I said I wanted something iTunes compatible. I wanted a simple MP3 player and it was either this or other MP3 players. That took way too much time to rename and convert files and move them around to different files to add them to overall the simplicity for what I was looking for is great. It feels about the same weight as my iPhone 16. I am a little worried about the touchscreen and just overall it feeling almost like a phone as my kids are almost careless with everything, but it was get them their own MP3 players or keep downloading their songs and music to my phone and having to play their music 24 seven and I love my TWINS lol but I can only take so much music that an eight-year-old girl wants to listen too I definitely have to go through and do some more reviewing and reading on the MP3 player and how to manage the settings but overall definitely more up to my speed. Just wish there was more easier and better parental controls. Otherwise definitely great quality for the money all touchscreen buttons other than the side buttons for the volume and power, which are just like your phone and the sound quality is just as good as my iPhone Bluetooth compatible just overall great but could have a few few tweaks so I give it four stars Read more

I researched for hours on finding something for my 6 and 9 year old that wanted music players for christmas. I want them to grow up listening as I did (with a tape player, then cd player). My 6 year old has one already, but I preferred something with spotify since he likes music that I do not and they can both find their own taste (as I did by 2nd grade - Korn haha). I didn't want to overspend or underspend and this player was a good price I thought, especially since I can slap all 3,000 of my songs onto my 9 year olds, since he likes my music. These little suckers are fast, I deleted all the crud apps and just left pandora/spotify/music. I made their own spotify accounts using their apple id's (family sharing), and created some playlists. They are hefty little things and are basically a mini amazon fire tablet. My only thing is the app that controls the music you upload, I can't seem to get it to sort artist/album/songs - I am a straight old school ipod user and who doesn't want to sort stuff like this. Fantastic mp3 player. I bought this for my 7 year old as we were signed up for a 5k and she wanted to be able to listen to music. We already have an Amazon music unlimited account, so I was able to login and pull up her playlist. Originally I thought it would only work with WiFi, but I found that under the Amazon music app, we can download her playlist so she can still listen offline. A great option for parents who are not ready to give their kids a phone, but they still want a music player. Sound quality is not perfect, but my 7 year old hasn’t complained. Is better with the headphones than without. Touch screen is easy to use, and has a long battery life. Great device for the price. Read more
