I got the wrist rest for the mouse and found it amazingly comfortable. The wrist rest I had for my keyboard was coming apart, so I ordered this one to go with the wrist rest. I was very excited, until I noticed the warning on the label that wasn't explained. This is the warning: "WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm" I emailed the company, since there was no information I could find online, and I don't think any company could stay in business for long selling toxic/dangerous products. They must get this question a lot, because they replied within 20 minutes. They were very helpful and I appreciated the speed of the reply as well. Essentially, there's a chemical you should not ingest in the interior gel. I wouldn't have done that anyway, but I am copying and pasting the company's reply, to hopefully ease everyone's mind. Don't eat plastics or gels, period the end. "The product contains a plasticizer phthalate. Phthalates are a group of chemicals that are contained in numerous everyday products. It is only hazardous if ingested in large quantities. Most gel wrist rest will have this chemical regardless of brand. Phthalates are not banned in California but California Proposition 65 legislation requires that the product contain a warning label. No other state has a similar legislation but since shipments to our California warehouses and customers could come from anyone of our national distribution centers, we cannot limit the warning labels to products in our California warehouses only. But again, since this chemical is on the list of Prop 65 as a potential carcinogen when ingested in large quantities, we need to warn. The phthalate quantities are very minimal. I’ve been skeptical of these for awhile. Sometimes they’re comfortable and sometimes they’re not (and they actually make things worse). And I never liked sharing them with another person because of the shared workspace situation at my job. Those things got so nasty and ratty. Bleh. BUT! Now, thanks to covid, I’m working from home. Yay! Now I get to have my very own wrist wrest. I’m glad I chose this one. It’s gel or silicone or whatever, so it’s easy to clean. It’s very comfortable. I’m very impressed by the results too. I have tendonitis and needed something supportive but soft and with a bit of give. A foam wrist rest wasn't good enough. This is probably as close to perfect as anything can get. This keyboard wrist rest is softer and more gushy than the mouse wrist rest, since it's larger. It stays cool, it's pretty, and it supports me while typing/gaming. The back is not sticky but it stays in place anyway. Easy to clean, just give it a wipe. 4 stars because I worry about durability and it's probably not as comfortable to use in the hot summer. Another reviewer said they were ashamed of buying it because it looks like a sex toy. It really doesn't. It looks like a happy, bright little wrist rest that gets the job done while also being fun to poke and touch! It doesn't look weird at all once it's sitting in front of your keyboard. Read more

This is my second one of these! The first one was purchased at my previous employer and I loved it so much I reordered it again for my current job. I am on my computer 8 hours a day and the one I was given at work is basically a long bean bag. It's pretty much useless and my wrists are sore by the end of the day due to the fact it's mushy and sags. This jel purple one is attractive, comfortable and very easy to clean. It is not at all latex/ rubber and NEITHER the one I purchased over a year ago and the one I recieved today have ANY kind of odor whatsoeve! I just wipe it down with my desk every week with my spray bottle of Method grapefruit all purpose cleanser. It was actually long enough to use with my trackball mouse on one end so I wouldn't need another wrist rest for it. Read more

I am disappointed with the purple Fellows gel computer wrist rest especially since I researched it before purchase; the ratings had been good. But despite the ratings, please avoid this item! I bought it at the end of January 2024. Very early after the purchase, the gel casing started to wrinkle and lose its shape. By early April, the edge of the gel casing ruptured and sticky material oozed out. It was unusable. I'm hoping the material is non - toxic. This product is inferior and lacks quality! I have purchased a couple of these in the These are great! They are cooling against the skin and are cushy. It makes all-day computer work less stressful on the hands. While co-workers are enduring carpel tunnel issues, I am breezing along. They wear well. In fact, the only reason I am on number three, is the oil on my hands changes the color over three years.
