Bought for care of elderly mother. Accurate, takes temperature quickly, easy to read, nice display. Tells you if your good to take temperature. Dislike the sound feature, very faint, may as well leave off. First one I received was intermittently working. I thank Amazon for a quick replacement. For the price it is adequate. Read more

This is not accurate. Waste of money.
The only place on a body where the temperature is "close" but is still off. Is the underarm. Every where else on the body is so especially forehead the reading constantly off, higher or lower. I compared with a digital and an old mercury glass type thermometer. Also, I never get the same reading twice even when pointing it at the same spot. Following every direction. Keep in mind, this thing gives the worst readings on the forehead. I missed my return date. So I might as well tell you all, you have been warned. Don't bet your life on this Innovo Medical Touch less Forehead Thermometer. This brand has been very good in all other equipment I have tried. It's a shame this device has such a poor scanner.
