This is a great product for the price - picture quality and color look great - brightness is just fine for normal use. Some have said it is slow - that was not our experience when we set it up last night. Is it a $1000 tv? No - but for the price it is amazing. Would absolutely buy again - got a great bargain on it. Read some of the reviews, and was a bit hesitant to purchase because of the unbelievably low price. Got my unit yesterday, hooked it up and watched, playing with the options for a while, and I couldn't be more pleased. Picture quality is as good as I've ever seen, even on much costlier TV's, sound is acceptable, and excellent with my low-cost sound bar and sub-woofer. Read more

was on the fence about this Fire TV at first because it was noticeably more expensive than the Westinghouse Roku TV I was used to. I’ve been a Roku user for a long time, so switching ecosystems wasn’t something I took lightly. After spending time with it, though, I’m really glad I made the jump. I’ve been able to find pretty much everything I watch without issue, and the interface feels like a nice middle ground between Roku’s simplicity and Chromecast’s flexibility — both of which I’ve used in the past. It took a short adjustment period coming from Roku, but once I got used to it, navigation felt smooth and intuitive. The extra features and integrations make it feel more capable without being overwhelming. If you’re comfortable with Roku but curious about Fire TV — or want something that blends ease of use with deeper features — this has been a solid upgrade for me. Read more
Terribly slow TV. Lags constantly. Seems like we are frequently having to restart it from the settings menu or occasionally even pull the plug physically and let it sit for a bit. Worst part? Don't think you're gonna use it "offline" in the event your Internet is out or, like today, there are known issues across all of Amazon Web services. It just won't load anything. Even apps like Plex, Emby, jellyfin, etc that don't "need" internet. For the price, it's worth keeping and throwing in the garage as a display. But I will likely plug into a Roku streaming stick and use that instead ironically. Update 11/1/2025: this thing decides randomly to just stop responding especially when we have speakers plugged in via HDMI ARC. I have to either turn off my speaker system and turn it back on, unplug the speaker system and plug it back in, or reboot the TV completely to get it working again. All "software" up to date (no updates available). Changed my rating to 1 star. It's just really a less than mediocre TV. If you're on a budget and really want a big TV for cheap, then I get it. I really do. But if you can spend more and shop around, trust me this isn't the one you want. Read more
This TV is awesome. I spent about $300, and it was well worth the money. My last was 43 inches, so going up to 65 was huge. The image quality is amazing for the price point. No issues with brightness or glare. That is as expected. The sound quality was surprisingly good, but I still use a speakers. But before I had them, I was still surprised how well the surround sound worked in the tv itself. Overall, very happy with this tv so far. Hopefully it lasts. Read more
