This is my third DVD-VCR player, and it's the best one. Rewinds don't have a delay before taking effect, nor have a delay at the end of the rewind. The player remembers where you left off when playing a DVD, and resumes from that point when you turn it back on. The remote works great, and does not have to be pointed directly at the machine like with my last player. I'm very satisfied with this player. Read more

This was shipped in a timely manner and as promised. Did have a slight problem installing as one of the cables was not the right color to attach to my newer TV but we worked it out. I'm highly satisfied and I can play my VHS movies as I still have a lot. Read more

I have had three of these for a few years now and they are great. I got them for my security system for the cameras outside. Aways dependable. However, if there's a power outtage, of course, you have to reprogram them. I don't use them to play DVDs, but if I did I'm sure they would be just as dependable. My only concern was that it was re-furbished. But that is all you can get since no one makes these combos anymore. But it works great and I'm able to watch my MANY VHS tapes that have been lanquishing on my shelves for many years. Read more
