If I were to rate all the products that I am invited to comment upon, I'd spend much more time than I have available. The fact is that the vast majority of purchases here on Amazon are totally what I expect them to be. HOWEVER, this cologne is the great exception. I have limited knowledge of the finer elements of "perfumery"; nevertheless, even I can say that the aroma of this - let's call it - "product" is absolutely one of the worst I've ever encountered. I may be far from being a "nose" - as I believe the experts are called - but I would be interested to know if anyone can detect the slightest hint of pineapple aroma in this horrible concoction -- or for that matter any other scent that might be considered pleasant. To me it smells like some kind of industrial solvent. Well, it's not the end of the world -- better accepted as a learning experience. I'm writing this note several weeks after submitting the review seen above. I was very surprised to realize that the people who sell this cologne apparently read these reviews - and make an effort to make things "right"......... I did not ask for a refund. It would have never occurred to me. HOWEVER, I was offered a FULL REFUND - and within a day or two of the offer, the cost of the cologne was deducted from my account. I'll mention that I am fully aware that many people think this aroma is first-rate. As the Romans might have said - "De gustibus non disputandum est" -- you can't really argue about taste. The fragrance smells Great. Very close to Aqua di Gio at a fraction of the cost. Last hours on the skin and on clothing for days. The bottle is nicely packaged and sealed in the box. I like the black and silver accent on the bottle, very classy design. The sprayer sprays a fine mist. It's not overpowering. I've received compliments. Got this for $9.99 at a great value. Masculine,mature and spicy without smelling like bodywash and carpet cleaner like most cheaper scents tend to. Its hard to describe but it smells like autumn leaves almost and the chilly air of ice cubes in a empty glass with almost floral notes that gives it a more seductive vibe.A tad overpowering,lasted about 3 hours in the middle of a hot humid summer. Pros: 1) gorgeous & secure packaging; 2) beautiful, elegant bottle; 3) not overpoweringly strong when sprayed; 4) base notes last over 12 hours; 5) very generous bottle size for the money, so great value for your purchase Cons: 1) Smells nothing like Prada Candy (which it claims to be "inspired" by). It just smells like baby powder and if it was instead "inspired" by the old-school Love's Baby Soft fragrance; 2) very "shallow" sort of one-note fragrance to me; it lacks depth, warmth or complexity.
