It's very easy to burn. I use a butane lighter, and I barely need to have the flame on it for 3 seconds before the little sparks start racing across the surface of the charcoal. I am then able to add my Farnkincense or Myrrh resins to it. Although I have also reversed the order and placed the resin on top of the charcoal first and then lit. Both work very well. Also, it burns for a long time. At the end, it all turns to complete ash, which makes for easy clean up. I would advise opening the packs as you are going to use them. If you leave a pack open for too long (not sure how long, but I am thinking for months without using them), they may lose their ability to light fast. Read more

I love these they work excellent. The initial smell of the fuel burning off as they “self light” or whatever can be a litttttle strong. I usually light it and then set it outside until that smell burns off before I use them. Read more
