It’s very easy to set up. It comes charged and with an extra rope. The battery lasts about 2-3 days, which is great. My dog barks at it and chases it around. She was able to chew up the first rope within a day. Also she was able to separate the top (where the battery is and the person can set the mode for the toy) from the bottom of this toy. I have to emphasize on that it was working fine for a day right before she took it apart! The toy still works, but if you have a large dog, you have to find a rope supply company that can provide you with the right thickness of rope so it would work for it. It’s a great toy for a smaller dog. I probably able to entertain my dog for a few more days or until she chews up the second rope that came with the toy. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This was a great toy for the couple days it worked. My dog was obsessed! I kept an eye on her cuz she wanted to kill it, in a good way, lol. But it just stopped working. It charges and there’s no visible damage. Just stopped. Very sad cuz every so often pup tries to make it move again but w no success. :(. Also be aware if you accidentally get smacked in the shin while pup is plying w it, it will hurt for DAYS. Read more

Dog should be supervised when playing with this. This is not one of those “set it and forget it” toys. It was going to be a few hours before I could take my dog to the dog park, so I provided him this toy so he could have something to do while I was doing stuff in the house. The unpredictable vibrations and movements immediately got his attention. I thought, good. After about five minutes, I heard the toy say “powering off.” I looked, and my dog had unscrewed the top from the bottom and figured out the power button. He proudly looked at me as if to say, “I made it so it won’t annoy us anymore!” I could only laugh. I thought it was a fluke, so I re-set the top and bottom and turned it back on later in the day. Within three minutes, he unscrewed it again and was pawing at the tiny power button. This part of the toy isn’t really dog proof, so that’s why I say dogs should be supervised. I don’t necessarily think it’s a dangerous toy, but depending on the level of chewer, could be bad. I still let him play with it, but part of me think he’s more annoyed/stressed at this device than thinking “yay, toy.” Similar to an annoying ringtone or alarm clock you rush to silence. He definitely stress yawns when the toy does its noise and movements. Also, if you need absolute quiet, this also may not be the toy. I have silenced the talking, but the motor still makes noise and the hard plastic tumbles on hardwood. If these are non-issues for you, I still recommend this. Read more
