My two-year-old grandson loves this set and plays with it all the time. Don't expect serious instruments; they are just toy pieces. The horn is impossible to blow - hard even for an adult. But you can still pretend with it and push the buttons. They all make sounds and are great to pretend with. Read more

At the request of my mother, I reluctantly purchased this set of instruments as a Christmas gift for my toddler. I was dreading the noise, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be: The mouthpiece broke off the trumpet within a few days, and the other end got lost. The drum is hard to put together for little ones, so I control when I'm willing to hear it. The drumsticks are too light and flimsy to be used as weapons. The maracas and tambourine aren't any more annoying than baby rattles. Only one of my three kids can manage the harmonica, and they usually can't find both pieces of the flute at the same time. If you have to buy noisemakers, these are the ones to get. If you want to torment parents you hate, get something sturdier. One star off because they're landfill fodder. Read more

I got this for my 1 year old son because of his love for drums. For that, I think it’s ok, but if I had the choice to do it again I would buy a different brand. My husband likes that the drum sticks are small and not too heavy because they don’t make too much noise, but my son prefers our other drum sticks, though he prefers this drum. The quality of the other items is not very good, unfortunately. One of the maracas broke within a month and little beads started falling out. We glued it, and it broke again. The trumpet never worked at all. The recorder only works if you cover all or most of the finger holes just right. The harmonica is hit or miss. Tambourine is fine. I’ve had it for about a year and he’s starting to want to use wind instruments so I’m looking for something else. Read more

Great interactive toy and easy to use. The drum is also used to store the other musical instruments which I thought was neat. We all were able to join in and have a fun family night making music. I’m giving this 5 stars all around. Wanted to mention that my 3 year old stabbed the top of the drum with one of the sticks. This would happen with any drum but I wanted to put that out there because I wasn’t expecting her to use so much force or slam the stick through the drum. Read more

I’m not sure why others had a hard time with the instruments. My 16month old and 3yr old can blow the trumpet. It’s a quiet sound. It was easy for them to blow. Harmonica plays two notes, the recorder is fully functioning and I could play every single note on it! The drum lid twists off and would need an adult or 8 and up to open it. It’s a great set!
