The media could not be loaded. I’m super happy with this bed. I had fun putting it together, and it took less than 2 hours from unboxing to finished product. I read the reviews about a screw not fitting, so we were careful to only finger tighten the bolts. We screwed them in as far as we could with our fingers only, and as soon as we had any resistance, we stopped and moved on to the next step. I also took the time to read through the directions (which were super simple but no words) and lay everything out approximately where it would be which saved a ton of time. Make sure you pay attention to the way each bar it going to land, you can accidentally screw bars into the wrong side and then you’ll have to unscrew and flip things around. It’s easier to avoid this if you carefully lay everything out and read the directions so you know what steps to expect next. Take your time. We did have trouble with the very last bolt on each side on the last metal piece that goes in the middle, and we could not get the screw to thread in with our fingers. At this point, we decided to go from start to finish tightening all the bolts with the included wrench. Sure enough, by the time we got back to the last bolts, they threaded in. They definitely had more resistance than the rest, some of which we suspected was due to a bit of excess paint as well as being the very last bolts, but they went in far easier than when we tried before tightening everything else. The bed is super light but still feels solid. Our Leesa mattress felt fine with the metal slats only, but we opted to purchase a bunkie board to further protect the mattress. Highly recommend purchasing the bunkie board at the same time as the bed frame so you can put the bunkie board down before the mattress and only move the mattress once. Ours came the next day so it was tough to lift the mattress and slide the bunkie boards in because they have rubber dots for grip so the mattress is difficult to slide around. Plus we put them down the wrong direction and had to move the mattress again. If we had waited for the bunkie board, we would have realized they zip together and lay down horizontally. If your mattress is easy to lift, you’ll have a much easier time lifting and placing it onto the bunkie boards. Ours was really heavy and a little too floppy to lift the entire thing but we made it work with my boyfriend lifting each side and me adjusting. Read more

This bed is nice for the price. I got it for my guest room and it looks great. It’s pretty light weight so I can move it round if need be. The assembly was pretty simple and it went together easily with no problems, albeit my son was here to help. It does help to have 2 people although I probably could have done it by myself. The only issue was a very small dent in one of the headboard posts but not that big of a deal, barely notice it. I’m happy with this purchase. Read more
