A little loose and compression is subtle. You don't feel it right away but at the end of the day the compression feels a lot more intense than when you first put them on. They are soft and comfy. Got them when they were on sale and don't think it was a bad purchase, not sure I would pay full price for them but I'm also stingy when it comes to buying things for myself. Read more

Let me start with what's good. These are vibrantly -colored, solidly-constructed socks. I was surprised at how roomy they felt in the foot, especially as I wear extra wide shoes. My feet were able to breathe in this material. The two challenges I experienced were where the foot and leg meet and at the leg. At the top of the foot/ankle juncture, they felt a little tight and I had to adjust them multiple times to get the right fit. Although initially comfortable at the ankle, throughout the day, they began to feel tighter. By the end of the day, instead of compressing to reduce swelling, they were constricting and left my ankles dented. To be clear, these are not advertised to accommodate large legs or wide feet. They probably work well for more traditional sizes. As mentioned, they are forgiving of wide feet, but are just a bit too snug in the leg. That said, they kept my feet below the ankle from swelling but are not a good all day option for bigger legs. Read more
