I got these for a trip where we’d be walking around a lot and wanted to have some water on hand. They are very small but that’s plainly in the description. I got a small sling bag for the trip that had two mesh pockets for bottles and these fit down in them very nicely. Larger bottles wouldn’t have fit well and would have been cumbersome, and would have made my bag a lot heavier. At one point, when we were trying to navigate a NYC subway, it was hot and crowded, and my partner began feeling ill and light-headed. Having the water handy for her made a huge difference. There were other times on the trip when they came in handy, too, but that was the time I was most grateful to have them readily available. As far as I could tell, they kept the water about the same temperature as it was when we filled them. We didn’t use them for any hot beverages. They were easy to open but also never leaked. It's a good bottle in the sense that it doesn't leak but it's not a very effective thermos. As soon as it contains a hot liquid the lid and the whole top half of the thermos warm up, meaning that it is not effective at retaining heat or cold. It will work for some uses, but if you want a thermos that will keep a liquid hot or cold for several hours, this thermos will not work for you. Read more

This thermos holds 5 oz just enough to put water into to take meds on the go. I live in a nursing home and do not have access to a fridge in my room so I pour some milk from breakfast and bang, I have some for my tea throughout the day. I would say it stays very cold for about 6 hours and by 8 hours I would be getting new milk. Easy screw lid with my arthritis it was not difficult at all. They have many colors to choose from but some colors are less expensive than others. I got a bottle brush to ensure my thermos was getting deep cleaned. A few good swipes with the brush and the milk residue that was sticking to the bottom was gone. My thermos has some dents from dropping it but this has not affected its durability. Read more
