We are pleased so far. We bought this in May and only have used it a handful of times. I got it for my 9yr old. I'm confident she can ride but I'm still very cautious. It does have some speed and it is sort of an ease over bumps and holes in the road and sidewalks. We both can fit at the same time. I just turn slightly to one side so I make sure she can fit in the front comfortably. Even with her at 82lbs and myself at 180 it still pulls up slight inclines really good. The brakes are very good. The light is bright and the bell(horn) is cute like a bicycle bell. It stays charged pretty good. Again,we don't ride much but when we do, I don't have to charge it often. Read more

Here we go! This is for the Isinwheel Z1 scooter: Just got it today - a week early! Easy to assemble...pull it out of the box, install four screws and charge it up. Five stars. Downloaded and connected the Z1 to the app on my phone. Easy. Five stars. First ride ....WOW!!! This scooter has power get up and go! Turned on the lights very cool effects and colors. Five stars. Suspension is good...but you do feel the bumps on the handlebars. Four stars. Quality and construction a solid five stars....excellent fit and finish. The only real negative so far...it is HEAVY. 50+ pounds. I can lift it folded up but really this scooter is not meant to lug it daily on a subway train or bus or carry up stairs; it's built for speed and quality and keeping in a garage. Three stars. This is a quality instrument...something you feel proud to own and show off to friends and family. Overall - FIVE STARS I will update this review down the road. Meanwhile most highly recommended. Get one or two! UPDATED - 100 MILES TRAVELED: ALERT! BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR FIRST RIDE!! : On the fastest setting I was getting a wobble. Uh-oh are my tires out of balance? Why? Well it was the TIRE INFLATION. I checked the pressures and both tires read @ 40 lbs....10 lbs over! Use your preferred tool and quickly let out a little air and recheck. you want to ride @ 30 lbs for each tire. Much much better...smoother over the bumps and no more wobble! Other than that slight issue this scooter is a BLAST. I will update further down the road. Rock solid; nothing broken or malfunctioned; Five stars UPDATED: THREE MONTHS OF FUN! I found a local apartment complex with huge parking lots, bike lanes and paved blacktop bike paths to cruise and race on. Pro tips: Get a strong blu-tooth speaker and mount it, get gloves and a bike helmet. Go out on a beautiful day fully charged and have a cold drink or water available. Running at the higher speeds is a work-out! Nothing better! Read more

This scooter is a remarkable value!! Packed with features and gets you scooting almost immediately out of the box. Well packaged, faster than expected delivery, high quality material. Love the clasp locking when folded. Intelligently designed and easy to enjoy. My app worked for a day or two but after upgrading my phone it is no longer functional. But I look forward to those bugs being worked out because there are amazing options when syncing the app with riding experience: remote locking, course tracking, battery monitoring, etc. Read more

I live in an area with a lot of electric scooters on the street (Lynn, Massachusetts) so even though I'm a lot older and heavier than most riders I decided to jump in. When I was shopping good reviews were hard to come by so I'm going to cover everything I can. Top line is I'm happy with the scooter although it's still new to me at 25 miles in. Portability - a big concern was how easy this would be to mesh with our local transit system. Batteries and motors are both heavy things but the scooter is some I can carry with one hand. It folds down easily with a latch that locks in securely to the kickboard in the back. Overall it feels solid and well built. The scooter doesn't fit easily in my trunk so if that's important to you measure first. I have to take the back seat down to get it in there. Speed - In my jurisdiction (MA) it's illegal to go over 20 MPH on a scooter and it's definitely not safe. Even though I'm a heavy guy the scooter can get to full speed. It accelerates more slowly past 25 MPH. I'm very happy at 15mph which is where I'll spend most of my time. The cruise control feature beeps when it hits max power apparently and not top speed. It beeps at you a lot but you can turn that off. I say max power because if you're going up a hill at the 15 MPH setting it will beep with cruise control kicking in at only 10 MPH or so. Hills - In my area there are some moderately steep hills. As I mentioned I'm a heavy guy and on those steep hills the scooter just gives up. For example Bay View Ave (pictured) has an incline, as best as I can calculate, of ~12% but the scooter can't do it. It wouldn't even start up the hill from a stop and if you're going it slows to the point you could walk faster. If you lived in a hilly area, like San Francisco, this would be a big consideration. For me I'm mostly on flat ground. Small inclines slow it down but the scooter handles those quite well and then speeds back up. Brakes - Nobody mentions these but they're obviously important! On flat ground it's great but going down steep hills you won't stop fast, at least not if you're heavy like me. The brakes knock out the cruise control just like it would in a car which is great. Lights - A major reason I got this scooter was the lights. The turn signals are nice but in the daytime I doubt any driver would see them. The main front headlight is bright enough to navigate in complete darkness. That said in MA it's illegal to use scooters at night. After trying this I see why - it's bumpy and you can't see so you could easily fall off. Suspension - This is way better than I expected. I've gone over big bumps and even curbs on the scooter with the stability still being great. battery - The range given is for a 150 lbs rider so your results will vary with speed and hills. I got about 20 miles out of my first charge. Most places I'm going to are fairly close so this isn't a big deal for me. To get a full charge does take a solid chunk of day, 5-6 hours at least. Display - The display is simple and easy to read in both light and dark. The app has such terrible reviews I didn't bother with it. It's not really clear what it would get me that's not already on the display. If having the battery be certified is really important to you (like you live in NYC) I'd contact the company prior to purchase. Nothing in the documentation proves this. You're just basically going off their word it's certified, you couldn't actually prove it. Overall I'm really happy with the scooter. It's fun to ride, looks cool, and I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of it in years to come. Read more
