This was my first experience with this brand and with a body wash at this level. Right out of the bottle, I noticed a light but incredibly pleasant fragrance. It smelled so good that I found myself leaning in for a better sniff. The texture is more like an oil than a traditional body wash, and while it doesn’t lather much, that doesn’t affect its effectiveness. After showering, I was immediately impressed by how good my skin looked, even before applying moisturizer. I don’t think I’ve ever been this wowed by a body wash. My only wish is that the bottle came in a larger size and that the scent was a bit stronger. However, I wouldn’t take off a star since there are trade-offs to those changes, and the product itself is excellent. Is it pricier than store-brand body wash? Yes, but it’s packed with ceramides, soothing agents, and hydration that drugstore washes lack. The results speak for themselves. I have to admit that after ordering this and reading reviews elsewhere, I was terrified to try it. Why? Because the smell of almond oil makes me horrifically sick and many people said it was very almond-forward in spite of the listed notes of chamomile, lavender and vanilla. I'm guessing this is because the first ingredient is sweet almond oil (which I didn't notice when I got this). Imagine my pleasant surprise when I opened it and was greeted with a creamy, slightly sweet, calming scent with no almond in sight. It actually smells really good! This is a true oil straight out of the bottle, but it turns a little bit milky when mixed with water. It left my skin feeling very soft and smooth and was definitely a pleasant experience to use, if a little hard to rinse off completely. The reason I took one star off is that I'm not sure this is going to last long at all unless I only use it on my legs (which would actually be okay). It also leaves my hands quite oily and slippery and I nearly dropped the bottle closing the lid, but I may just be a clutz. This one was a dark horse for me. Definitely a surprise winner! Read more

I really like this oil body wash and was going to give it five stars, but I landed at four and I will tell you why. Yes, it is very hydrating and enjoyable to use. I like the texture and viscosity of this product--it feels quite nourishing on my dry, sensitive skin. I am pretty scent sensitive and can't say that I love the smell of this body wash, but I don't mind it either...I think it's nice enough and it doesn't bother me. My issue is that the scent is described as containing chamomile, but I don't see it listed in the ingredients. I am sensitive to chamomile and try to avoid using skincare products that contain it so I wish I could figure out if this actually contains the ingredient. Also, there was no seal on the bottle. I also have their yellow bottle of body cleanser and that one came with a tiny little clear plastic seal so I would have felt more reassured if this blue bottle had the same on it. Otherwise, this really is a nice, luxurious body wash that is super hydrating so it is absolutely worth trying. Read more

Wow I live the smell so light and subtle but nice and comforting, great for dry skin and in the winter wheb you need extra hydration helps start off moisturized skin. It does feel a bit oily but I don't mind. Read more

I have dry skin so oil cleansers are amazing for me! The first time I tried an oil cleanser it was for a face wash and it worked so well. This was my first time trying a whole body oil cleanser, and I am very happy with the results. My skin feels clean and nourished. It smells good too. I absolutely love this body wash. It feels incredible on my skin. It makes me feel so moisturized but not greasy at all. This oil based body wash does not dry you out and feels like it provides good moisture. You don’t need a lot to get a good lather. I just wish there was more of a scent to it. Based on the description I was hoping for a pleasant beach like scent but it didn’t smell of much. Read more
