Love these boots I am so glad I went and ordered the suede material type boots they have a 3 1/2-inch chunk heel also a zipper on the inner side of the boot also the material is folded down over the zipper to give the slouchy look to this boot. the brown suede is nice and soft to the touch and looks very high quality. The bottom is a hard rubber type material to which it has a gritty feel to help with the grip and slippage. The stitching looks to be a tight neat no frays at all very good-looking type of boot. When ordering I would recommend ordering True to size I ordered A size 8 and even with a thicker type of sock they fit perfect. From the look of the pictures I wasn't sure that I would even like this style of a boot but honestly these will get a lot of use this fall and winter, I can't get over how soft the material feels and not only that but how comfortable they are to walk in they are the whole package even though they do have a high heel it's a chunk heel which helps to stabilize you as you walk and easy to walk in also. The front of the boot has a rounded toe nice looking for this type of boot. The inside of this boot has a black silk type material so when you slip the boot on remember to unzip the boot first and slide your foot in, which I definitely like the zipper being there, and if you have a thicker type shin the fabric seems to hug the leg but not too tight just enough so the boot stays in place and the fabric doesn't fall down. Pretty brown suede boots. They came is a really nice box. They look to be good quality. The size is good. It is a half boot, so in under the knee and above the ankle. The color is great. These super slouch, fold over boots are so on trend for the season. They'll look amazing with cut offs layered up for fall, or with a slinky dress and kimono over it, so many options! The style aside, they're a high quality, soft vegan leather and feels supple. The interior zipper is invisible from the outside and you have to lift the cuff in order to access it. This gives the boots a seamless, higher end look. The foot casing was a bit snug when I first put them on (thank you 3 kids for changing the width of my feet!) but these usually stretch out over time and wear. Not wanting to suffer and take the time to "break them in" I used a shoe stretcher. I do think they run true to boot size since the length was perfect for me, I wear a 9.5 in boots and a 10 in other shoes, I ordered the 9.5. I don't think going up a size would help with my width issue. Overall I love these mid calf, slouchy boots. The shaft opening is plenty big for those of us with larger calves and even slims the look of your legs/feet because of the fold over and wider opening. Super flattering for many occasions. The heel is also chunky and not super high so provides stability as well as the non-slippery treads. Get these and be the fashionista trend setter this autumn/winter. These boots are exactly as pictured in the listing, which is always a relief when ordering online. They have a polished look to them, and while they’re definitely an of-the-moment fashion statement versus a timeless boot, the quality feels much higher than I expected. I wore them all day right out of the box and found them surprisingly comfortable. The hidden heel gives you quite a lot of height, but because the boot covers the ankle, there’s more support—so the heel doesn’t feel stressful on the feet the way it might in a pump or lower-cut shoe. The heels also have two planes on them, so that they naturally push you forward when walking, allowing for a more fluid and gradual step compared to a fully-flat heel (meaning you don’t “clomp clomp clomp” as much). The slouchy style is flattering and easy to pair with everything from skirts to jeans. They work equally well for casual wear or a night out, and they have that mix of comfort and polish that makes them feel versatile. One note of caution: the first day I wore them, the nice interior lining left my socks stained cobalt blue. It wasn’t a big deal for me, but I’d recommend wearing dark socks the first few times until that stops happening. These boots are stylish and comfortable. They can’t be stretched out to full length though, because the under cuff material is the same as what’s inside of the boot. The are very easy to walk in and also warm enough for winter although you might need to size up if you’re going to wear them with thick socks. I love these boots even more than I thought I would.
