I purchased this because not only was it Organic. It is supposed to be third-party tested for heavy metals which are often found in gelatin when I first mixed it up it didn't dissolve as quickly and easily as Knox or some other one, but I stirred it in hot, not boiling water, even though I didn't. Appear to be dissolving perfectly I went ahead and added my cold liquid, stirred it up and then put it in the refrigerator when it was set up. It was crystal clear and perfect. A great gelatin. I highly recommend this the first bag I ordered arrived just in the bag with no protective plastic or envelope or anything so it was damaged but I didn't hold that against it and I re-ordered a replacement.
