These are pants in the physical sense, in that they're made of fabric and that there's 2 legs. Other than that, the print is horrible. It's so LOUD and horrible on the eyes. They're also see through. They fit me (I'm between a 12-16) but I'm not wearing them because you'd see my underwear underneath. For being Izod, you'd expect something better. Read more

This is a review for IZOD Women's Athletic Capri Pants Performance Stretch Travel Golf Unfortunately, I chose the wrong size from the drop down menu, totally my fault. So they don't look great on me, pretty baggy but they're definitely nice pants. They should be good for golf or tennis, gardening or just a hot summer day with a tank and sandals. And despite mine being too big, they're really soft and comfortable so I'll be using them for lounging around at home! The fabric is synthetic, mostly rayon (76%), with a bit of nylon and spandex. They're really smooth and have a little stretch, they're lightweight too. The synthetic material should be quite durable and help prevent any fading over time. Also, rayon is a good material for athletic gear because it's really absorbent but breathes well and dries quickly to help keep you cool if you're sweating. The color is a bright cornflower blue with white piping, the color is accurate to the photos online. These are capri style pants targeted towards golfing so they're appropriately styled for golf course dress codes. There are no back pockets but two front pockets and they're fairly deep and made from a silky stretchy material. They should be fine to store your golf gear. The waistband is elastic, these are pull-on pants so no zipper or buttons. The manufacturer says there's "tummy shaping support" in the pants but I can't really speak to the effect, as mine are too big. I was looking for panels or special stitching, something tailored on the inside of the pants. But I can't see anything specific that makes them "supportive", the fabric feels the same as the rest of the pants. So I'm going to assume this tummy support is very minimal. A nice perk to these pants is they can be machine washed, despite being mostly rayon. Rayon can shrink with heat so should be laundered with a little care. I'd use a gentle cycle and keep the water cool. As far as drying, either air dry or use a low drying temp and keep a timer on them as they'll dry quickly. I washed mine on warm and dried them on medium for about twice as long as they needed. I wanted to shrink them but not damaged them. I'd say they shrunk maybe half a size, nothing drastic but it was noticeable. As far as price, just under $39 when I ordered, that's pretty conservative as far as golf apparel goes. I think the quality is worthwhile too, all the stitching is done really well, the piping is clean and they feel really well made overall. I'd recommend them to others. Read more
