I am happy to report that my new favorite earbuds is these new Pro 7’s. Many small improvements add up. The first difference is the charging case, the Pro 7’s case is shorter and deeper, which I don’t mind. I presume that the reason for the change is to accommodate wireless charging. The case fits easily in my pocket. However, two things that are more difficult are the opening of the case and keeping it clean. With respect to cleaning, the case inside and out is black, the outside is fine but the inside matte black interior I find shows debris like ear wax and is difficult to clean. Taking the earbuds out of the case and inserting them into my ears I noticed that they each connect independently to my Bluetooth device. Connectivity is great and either earbud can be used alone. The trick to using a mono earbud is to keep the unused earbud in the case. The next thing I noticed is that the sound quality is much richer. You can change the sound profile with the Jabra Sound+ application. You can select a preset profile or create one that matches your hearing. Let me explain, when you run MySound it gives you a hearing test to create an optimized profile for your hearing ability. There is a MyFit capability that checks the Fit of the earbuds by playing a sound and then seeing how well the sounds are picked up by the microphones which use bone resonance. You can also customize the Active Noise Cancelation. The buttons on the Pro 7’s are large, which I find to be a useful improvement. The button on each earbud can be customized for single, double, and triple tap, for three different modes: media, incoming call, and active call. With so much configurability you have ultimate control. A long hold on the left earbud reduces volume and a long hold on the right earbud increased the volume. I find the fit to be snug and comfortable. A few other features that I like are Alexa integration. I am used to Asking Alexa for all sorts of information and to do all sorts of things. Double tap the right earbud and Alexa will prompt you and take your command. I am glad that I upgraded to the Elite Pro 7’s, they are a welcome improvement. I did receive a discount on the earbuds in exchange for this review. Read more

These are the best headphones I've ever used. I've had them for about a year now. I used them daily on my delivery route. now that I am a stay at home parent, I have the right one in most the day. Music, podcast, audiobook, or having one ear tuned into the baby room, it's exactly what I need. They are great sound quality when they are both in, but I love that I can just pop one in for a walk. The app is a little annoying, but I do like seeing where the headphones and case battery life are at. If I ever need new headphones I'll definitely stick to this brand. Very impressive, comfy, and good quality that lasts. Edit- I've had these since March 2021. I've had the right one in my ear almost all day, every day for the last 8 months while I take care of my baby and binge podcasts. The charge is starting to dwindle and sometimes phonecalls get garbled. If I restart them it fixes the issue. I'm still very happy with them, and will be buying a new pair as soon as possible. The sound quality is still amazing. Sometimes they have hard time locking into the charger, but I've used them almost every day for the past two years, so the wear and tear seems understandable Read more

I didn't realize before I was looking for wireless earbuds to wear for an extended time, but apparently I have small ears. I had not previously had an issue. I use them for casual listening, not for working out (I didn't know that there were two different kinds of wireless earbuds). I had received a pair of Bose SoundSport for Christmas and I really loved them for walks or the occasional phone call. I absolutely loved the wireless feature for going about my day. When I started wearing them for working from home, they started to hurt the inside of my ears badly-to the point when I didn't even want to put them in anymore. I read up online and tried not putting them so far in my ears, but that really compromised the sound for me (which is the #1 reason I wanted Bose). I gave them to my mom and purchased a pair of PowerBeats wireless. I found those to be cumbersome, but better IN my ears, but they hurt the outside of my ear. The sound was also disappointing especially considering the original price. I returned those, willing to compromise sound quality for wireless. I decided to shell out some more money (you get what you pay for), and have been very happy with the purchase. They did take a couple days before they felt completely comfortable, but I took some ibuprofen for that. What I LOVE: *Great sound- No sacrificing of sound quality for having a wireless earbud *Small tips (the small are the smallest I have seen) *They stay put in the ear *Hear through- Allows you to hear some of the surrounding noise. Without it on, you can't hear anything but the audio or music you are listening to *app to adjust the bass and other aspects of the music *Better looking than others. I got the gold ones, the others stuck out of my ears awkwardly, but these are not noticeable Why 4 and not 5 stars: *still a tad uncomfortable, but not enough to return given my other experience. I don't forget that they are there, but tolerable *The bluetooth does sometimes randomly disconnect. I read that this is an issue, and it has been happening once a day. There is no reason that I can find after going online *Understanding the charging case has been a curve (I'm in my 30s). Sometimes they charge, and sometimes I leave them in the case overnight and they don't. Overall, if you find other earbuds intolerable, these are a great choice! Read more
