I bought this trimmer set for at-home grooming, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it performs. I use it mainly for trimming my beard and cleaning up around the neckline and sideburns, and the precision trimmer makes it easy to get clean, sharp lines without pulling or irritation. The clippers feel solid in hand, the blades are sharp, and the motor is powerful enough to cut smoothly through thicker hair. Battery life has also been great—I’ve used it multiple times between charges with no drop in performance. One minor improvement would be better labeling or organization for the guard attachments, as it takes a moment to find the exact length you want at first. Its also a bit heavy so not ideal when traveling. That said, once you get familiar with the set, it’s very easy to use. Overall, this is a high-quality, versatile grooming kit that delivers professional-looking results at home. It’s a great value and something I’d definitely recommend for anyone looking to simplify their grooming routine Read more
Best Available and Affordable Hair Clippers for Home use in lieu of Higher priced models for Professional use. Fast charging and lasted up to 2 hours of continuous use. Motor will get warm. But exceptional in cutting layered styles like fades. Low cuts will leave stubbles instead of smooth skin, the only detraction. Read more
So far this is great. Sharp and cuts so smoothly and effortlessly. Came fully charged and battery seems to last a while. Not loud at all. Read more
I was really surprised by the quality of the clippers and trimmer. Basically professional-grade, they don't look or feel cheap at all. Well, the plastic comb guards aren't QUITE on the same level as brand-name Wahl ones. But the actual clippers and their blades are top-notch and perform great. The most incredible thing about these is the battery life. I've had these things for over 3 months now, use them every weekend, and still haven't gone below 50% battery life on either one yet! I actually had to plug them in and charge them for the first time before writing this review, just to make sure there wouldn't be any surprise problems with the charging. Otherwise, I probably would have gone a few more months on the original charge from the factory. Personally, I like that these units charge with USB cables. However, there are two caveats that you should know about. First, this set only comes with the cables, not a charger. Sadly, that's pretty much standard for all USB stuff these days. Secondly, while it's USB on the end that plugs into the charger, the cable has a proprietary connector on the end that plugs into the clippers. So, you can't use your own normal USB cables, as you can with other clippers that use USB on both ends. However, the set does come with two cables, even though both the clipper and trimmer use the exact same plug, so you're basically getting a backup cable. The most important warning I can give is that THE PLASTIC COMB GUARDS FOR THESE CLIPPERS ARE NON-STANDARD, compared to every other pair of clippers I've ever seen before. Normally, the comb numbers represent eights of an inch (e.g. a #1 comb is 1/8 in, a #8 comb is a one full inch, etc). However, these combs are offset by two sizes. That is, if you're accustomed to using a #2 comb, then you use a #4 comb here. A standard #3 comb is actually a #5 comb with this set, etc. I wasn't paying close attention, and my first cut was WAY shorter than I was expecting! That was frustrating, but now I know. Despite being a little flimsy feeling, and having the weird size offsets, the combs that come with this set are perfectly usable as-is. However, a cool thing is that these clippers fit brand-name Wahl combs guards just fine. So, I salvaged the combs from my old worn-out Wahl clippers and are just using them instead now. Overall, there are a couple of quirks to keep in mind, but this is still an outstanding clippers and trimmer set. You get both units for around the same price that Wahl charges for clippers alone. And while the comb guards aren't quite as good as Wahl's, the actual units themselves feel like much higher quality than what Wahl sells in this range. Recommended. Read more
I bought the Jack & Rose clipper and trimmer set for my dad, and overall he’s been really happy with it. The clippers are sharp and cut evenly, and the motor feels strong enough to get through thicker hair without pulling. He said it worked smoothly and didn’t snag, which was important since he cuts his own hair at home. The trimmer is also a nice bonus for cleaning up edges and detailing. The only downside worth mentioning is the guard lengths. The guards seem to run a bit shorter than standard. For example, when he used the #3 guard expecting a little extra length, it cut closer to what a #2 usually would. Not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of if you’re particular about length. Overall, it’s a solid clipper set that performs well and feels like good quality for the price — just keep the slightly shorter guards in mind when choosing your length. Read more
Great product and such a very friendly company. The clippers work fantastic, holds a charge for many uses before having to recharge and they are made well. With their two-year warranty I was able to get a replacement set as needed, and it arrived in a few days, and they were quick to respond to emails. It's hard to find a company that's still honors the guarantee they put on their brand. Thank you! Read more
Seem well constructed. Great value for the money. Work well. But the reviewers are correct: For my number 2 haircut, I used the 4 which gave me the 2 that I wanted. Read more
These clippers are great. My son’s hair is super thick and they glide right through. The charge lasts through several hair cuts. It’s nice to easily see the charge percentage. They are easy to use. Read more
