I hate makeup. Now that I am 41 I have learned to start covering up the discolored spots on my face. I am a cancer survivor and I will not buy anything with a bunch of chemicals. That means sometimes my purchases just do not do the job. I have the mineral foundation powder from Jane Iredale but it did not fully cover the age spots I am starting to see. This matte 3-in1 is perfect. I am not shinny, I do not have a "caked" on look even up close, and it really covers all the signs of aging on my face. I am surprised and excited at the same time. This is probably a great foundation for some people, but I hate it. It's a perfect match for my skin tone, but it looks terrible on my skin. It emphasizes every pore and all the texture on my face, it doesn't blend well no matter what I use to blend it, and it has this grainy appearance that adds even more texture. I assume that's because it's mineral makeup. I'm sure this product would be amazing on someone with perfect skin. I, however, have huge pores, acne scarring from my teens and twenties, and a wrinkles because I'm in my mid 30's. This is just the wrong formula for me. The glow time looked even worse. I decided to try Jane iredale foundation again, after trying and hating the glow time foundation, because it has great ingredients, it is recommended by my dermatologist and my esthetician. I love their other products, but the liquid foundation really is best suited for people with minimal skin texture and wrinkles in my opinion. The pure pressed base combined with a hydration spray is a better match for people with skin texture, if you choose to use Jane iredale products. I gave this product 3 stars, because I know Jane iredale makes high quality products, this foundation just wasn't a good match for my skin. Read more
