This product is based on a good idea: it is light and folds down easily to the size of a book. However, materials are cheap and thin and the hand truck collapses during use. Attached to my fairly lightweight shoulder bag, the bars supporting the handle twisted loosely, pushing the bag off the platform. The flip-down support leg kept collapsing, causing the bag and hand truck to fall over. Worst, the metal side supports quickly worked themselves back to folded position using use, causing the corners of the bag to drag on the ground. Despite stopping frequently to readjust everything, my expensive bag dragged on the sidewalk enough to ruin it - there are now holes on two bottom corners. I pretty quickly gave up, threw the hand truck in the bag to return for a refund, and carried the bag. Do not recommend. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Most of these reviews aren’t being fair because they are asking this little thing to be something it wasn’t designed to be. It was designed to be a small, inexpensive, foldable lightweight little luggage cart that folds up extremely small, fits into the bag it’s hauling, without taking up significant space and doesn’t add significant weight to your bag and can make carrying your bag a little easier when you need it. In order to do that, it naturally HAS to use lightweight parts that are inherently less robust. It is what it was designed to be. Could it use parts of higher quality without upping the weight or cost significantly? Probably. It’s not perfect. But it’s certainly not useless and the fact that it doesn’t do everything perfectly shouldn’t surprise. The pictures I’ve posted are of it carrying a Peak Design 30L travel duffel bag. It includes a small bungee cord that is helpful but if your bag doesn’t have a luggage pass through feature, you’ll find it difficult to balance and keep on the cart. Again, you shouldn’t expect it to be able to compete with full size luggage carts. Therefore… Would I be confident wheeling it through bumpy streets with a heavy bag? Of course not. Would I carry my child in car seat strapped to it like you could with a more robust less compact cart? No of course not. Would I expect it to last for years of rugged usage? No of course not. Would I expect it to easily be able to balance standing upright with a bag attached? Nope! BUT would I expect it to survive one or two vacations of occasional light usage if I have to carry a second bag for longer than I’d prefer. Sure! At the price, it doesn’t really have to last very long before you’d honestly have your moneys worth. It takes up very little room in your bag, folds up very small, and it not very heavy at all. I took a chance on this little thing because I really needed one. Even though the reviews weren’t great. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s what I needed. Now I HAVE NOT taken this on my vacation yet. Only around the house a bit. But I’m confident in what I’ve written above. At the price, it’s worth the risk anyway. Read more
This is a great addition for LIGHT travel. It's about the size of a videotape when folded up and fits easily in a carryon. As another review pointed out, this is a great for what the listing description describes. It lets you wheel small bags through the airport (small to mid-sized carry-ons, weekender bags, etc). It doesn't keep stuff off the ground (i.e., the kickstand is more for steadying the cart, not standing the luggage up). Like the description says, it's not for heavy-duty use - you can't lift bags over the curb with the handle like a regular wheelie bag - but it's nice to not have to carry a duffle through the airport/around the hotel. The handle does feel a little flimsy and twists a bit - it could use a cross-bar higher up. Also, the wheels and kickstand don't lock in place when it's folded up, which is a little annoying. I'd recommend opening and closing it a few times before you need to use it - the wheel locks are a little tight and it took a few uses to get them to easily move into place, which is a pain if you're trying to figure it out in the TSA line. Overall, a pretty good addition to the travel setup if you like to travel light. Read more
This was a fantastic idea. Its lightweight, the size of a book. Easily fit in my bag. As a backpacker, the relief off my shoulders was great while it lasted. It only lasted 1.5 airport runs. The wheels are super wonky and my bag often fell over. My bag is pretty heavy, so that makes sense. The bungee cord helped keep it in place. I think it will work well for a lighter bag but thats not the point of this product right? Well considering the material, it’s understandable. But i do really like the idea and how lightweight and compact it was. Just wish it didnt break on me!! Read more
We bought this product based on its description that made of quality materials and can be used for small bags and easily foldable. The quality is horrible- wheels dont turn well, it folds, handel us flimzy and unstable. One wheel cracked after one use ( with a small bag on it !). Not a good product- dissapointed I bought it, even more so I cant return it ( was not here to do so)! The seller should take respondibility and refund my money. Happy to ship this awful product back.
