I've tried every sponge under the sun. I always went back to my name brand sponge. This sponge is amazing! I'm never going back to the $20 sponge! What's great is that my local Walmart sells this sponge too, however, I like the ease of purchasing through Amazon. This sponge has just the right density, not to firm and not to soft. I purchased this after not being happy with how quickly I had to replace my beauty blender. While the texture is more dense than the beauty blender, it has not been an issue for me when applying liquid foundation/concealer, and I've also used it to apply setting powder. I got this sponge hearing that it works great, hoping I could find a dupe for the beauty blender at half the price. I've been really happy with my purchase so far, but the only complaint that I have so far is that when I tried to scrub the sponge clean, it fell apart in one area. It's got a dent where I tried cleaning it, so I'd just recommend being careful and using just some soap and using your hands to lather it instead of scrubbing it against anything. I can't comment on whether this is a good dupe for the Beauty Blender, since I've never used it. But I really enjoy using this pretty sponge to put on my foundation. It swells up massively once you wet it with warm water. It's very soft and gives a nice airbrush look to my foundation. I also like the pointy tip for blending under eye concealer. The only con to this is that it takes more that 24 hours to dry, so it's nice to have a backup sponge. Read more

I used to buy these from Ulta and panicked when my local Ulta's stopped carrying them! I really enjoy these sponges and appreciate that they are NOT light colored. It's important to clean and change out every so often but it doesn't always appear as dirty as my pink and nude BBs. I also like these better than the RT sponges and the price is good. Read more
