Great product
I teach on Zoom every day and use pencil for appointments in my planner. I've been fighting little hand held sharpeners for 5 years. (don't ask why!) With my Christmas gift card I bought this sharpener and it's just wonderful. Used it with electric cord first. After I tested all the AA batteries with my new battery tester, I put 4 of the in the sharpener and it works great so I don't have to worry about cords. Love it. Read more
Issue with removable lid
Works well but the removable lid is quite difficult to reinstall correctly. If not properly replaced the sharpener will not work. Read more
Great little sharpener!
Nice little pencil sharpener! It’s the perfect size, not too noisy, has auto stop and gets those pencils SHARP! At first, I thought it didn’t work on battery power alone, but it turned out that I’d installed the batteries incorrectly. 🤦🏼♀️ I purchased it to take with me when I tutor students. I like it so much that I’m getting a couple more for my classroom and a couple for home too! Read more

I wish I knew this prior buying this one
The media could not be loaded. I got this heavy-duty pencil sharpener almost a year ago and I have to say—it’s a game-changer! It works with 6–8 mm pencils and sharpens them perfectly every time. I love the auto-stop feature—no more over-sharpened or broken pencils. It’s versatile too, running on USB or batteries, which makes it convenient for home, school, or travel. The build is solid and feels durable, definitely heavy-duty as advertised. If only I had known how smooth and reliable this would be before buying, I would’ve grabbed it sooner! Beats a little handheld sharpener for quantity sharpening, but could be better.
not impressed. Sharpener works as it should but is a bit slow, a bit noisy, and when sharpening new pencils for the first time from a new, blunt end, it takes awhile. The lid that is removed to empty the waste is a bit tricky to align when replacing it, and when sharpening pencils from a flat blunt end for the first time, the shavings have to be emptied about every third pencil. Does not sharpen my larger pencils: orifice takes standard pencils. I wanted an electric unit; cord is long enough but longer would be better. When the sharpened pencil lead is not centered I can't tell whether it's the fault of the pencil or the sharpener. Probably some of each? On the good side, the transparent container makes it easy to see when the shavings need to be dumped; the footprint is small- doesn't need much room (about the size of a soft drink can).
