This is a nice, and easy-to-put-on belt. I bought it because it has a flatter profile than some of my buckle belts. I hate how my leather buckle belts leave a hump under my clothing after putting them on wearing jeans. This type of belt buckle is flatter, so I'm pleased with its lower profile under t-shirts I wear over my denim jeans and shorts. It's leather, which is a must, as they are more durable, wear better and last longer than synthetic belts. It comes adjustable to your size and specific length you need. You do have to use scissors to cut the end to size, as they give you longer than you need so you can customize it. I cut off approx. 4" off of mine. I got the 31"-35" length since I wear a 30" belt, and the smaller one would just fit, maybe, but I didn't want to take the chance at it being too short since my size is at the longer end of that one. The leather is 1/8" thick and 1 1/8" wide, which is a good width for jeans. The leather is smooth and a good quality leather. I like the color, it's a good British tan color, goes with everything for say-to-day wear. I would suggest they include a silver buckle fastener too, so you can change the color out for different outfit preferences. Mine came with gold only. An advantage is there are no belt buckle holes that stick out from the tail since this belt has a hidden track underneath to latch it. See photo. This belt comes in separate pieces and shows you how to set it up. That's so you can size it how you desire. This can be a waist belt or pants belt depending on the length you set. I want to keep it for both so I didn't cut mine down. But I wish it did have a piece to hold down the excess when using it as a waist belt. That's where it lost the star for me. I love the design though. The belt has like a plastic track of holes on the back and a stopper slides into the hole holding it in place. It has a release button when you need to undo it. It's a very nice clever design and makes it a lot more customizable fit than simply having holes. It's quality durable material for both the belt and buckle.
