Worked perfectly. I purchased for vacation, but have worn these to work, and out with friends. They are good alone on dresses, and also hold an oversized button-up together nicely. I recently wore one in the loops of a pair of jeans, and it was perfect for the style I wanted. They easily clasp, are comfortable, and don't move much. I love that it came in a 3 color pack. I bought the pack of 4, different colors. I usually leave shirts out and maybe wear a belt to pull up the shirt and sort of lay it over the belt. Im not good at tucking in just the front. Also sometimes shirts are just very long on me. I also want to start belting simple dresses I’ve recently bought for the summer because i Do have a waist and Do want to emphasize that in these simple A line dresses. The belts i have are decades old and i took a chance on these because of their slender look and the 'buckle' part looked nice. At 4 belts for basically $4.75 each, justifying the purchase was a no brainier for me. It’s a crazy value. They don’t look like they’ll fray or fall apart. The buckle seems securely attached. That’s 5👍🏼 to me. Ok... so! I wore the black one today. I wear a size 14 and bought the ‘fits waist size 35-42’ and it was incredibly amazing to me. Why: 1- It looked beautiful, not nice, beautiful because of the slender look of it (face it, i don’t need any extra bulk especially at my waist drawing attention to my NOT size 6 body) and the nice looking buckle. 2- it fit without being tight, in fact i would’ve forgotten i was wearing it if it didn’t make my boring pullover look so good all day which really helped me feel confident 2- the very ez to fasten buckle stayed put and the belt did not move around at all 3- the belt did Not roll up or down! 4- the buckle is unobtrusive/not distracting, but instead a lil touch of class..no kidding 5- i doubted it would be comfortable when i opened up the package simply because it is stretchy and i thought it might dig in. Nope. Was truly comfortable all day, and left no mark on my waist after wearing it for 15 hrs I’m not being paid to say any of this. I love the look of this belt and given my bigger midlife waist, the elastic is what I was looking for. I didn't think to look if the belt was adjustable but it is not. So when you measure yourself take that into consideration. I guess if it feels too big you could fold some of the material on itself and stitch it together to take any slack out. Read more
