I bought this specifically for going to the pub, or hanging out with my mates. I carry a book, glasses, maybe a pipe or a couple of cigars and accoutrements thereof. Stuff too big for pockets, but not enough to lug around a full sized backpack. Pros: Very well made. All the zippers, stitching, straps etc. look like they'll last a good while. I like that you can change the strap position to suit the side you're carrying it on. Cons: I really just want one storage area inside and one external zippered pocket outside. That's it. I don't need or want 5 storage spaces, internal dividers, and internal pockets. It's the right size - just barely. If my next book turns out to be a voluminous tome, I'll be out of luck. Nice product. Really hoping it would work for me but it’s too big. Tried tightening up the strap, and it doesn’t hold. I was planning on using it for a trip to keep my neccessities in front to make it easier to go through tsa, but I felt like I was wearing a baby swaddle. It was in the way and not comfortable at all.
