I bought this device to exercise opening my mouth. After having a wisdom tooth removed, there was nerve damage preventing me from opening my mouth. I had great pain just putting one finger into my mouth. I could not exercise my jaw as suggested by my dentist and look for a device that would help me. Out of desperation, I choose this Jaw Stretcher to do the job. After the first day using, I was able to have results. The device has notches in it's curve that lets you mark progress on how well you are improving. After 2 weeks I was able to almost go the full range of the device. This device is well thought out. Great quality materials and smart design. I’m a self care nerd and never realized I was missing this. Nothing with the body is instant…but this almost is. Genuine face/head/neck stretching that has giving me an ongoing relaxed state of being. This is a good jaw stretcher but it is a little awkward to use. The grooves are nice for fitting on the teeth but I have a weird mouth I guess so it’s just weird to put it on the tool. I feel like I drool too much too while doing it. Luckily you don’t need batteries or anything like that, just place it and hold. It’s a bit pliable too which is nice but it’s not my most favorite device ever to use. We will see how much strength my jaw builds up over time I’m only fatigued after using it so far. Read more
Product quality is made nicely, but is very small and in my opinion does not fit in a standard mouth. I have tmj and this fits in my mouth without stretching it to any pain point. Wish it was taller at max size. Read more
At first I didn't think it was doing anything but once I learned to really focus on relaxing my jaw while using this product the need for it really came into view. I have a form of TMJ called TMD having had the facial nerves and muscles cut for multiple craniotomies. I also find it helpful to rub or massage the muscles while using this. Read more
I was optimistic that this would be nice, However, I feel like it doesn't let the jaw open as wide as I'd like. It would have been great if it were slightly larger. I'm not sure if its because I have a larger jaw, but I kept wishing there were one or two extra steps on this. Read more
Glowing reviews convinced me to try AND they were NOT exaggerating! It’s miraculous. Way less jaw tension / TMJ issues. Noticeably less night clenching. Also helping with ear pressure. Simple. Easy.
