Good figurine, poor shipping strategy.

I would’ve given 5 stars, but for some odd reason, they shipped the figure without any box. It was just the item in the original plastic packaging with a shipping label stuck to the front. 5 stars for the people that actually moved it however. Only had one dent when it came in, which was easily popped out. Spent forever trying to get the adhesive off. Luckily they stuck it on the plastic side, and acetone managed to get it all off. Tried a few things first as acetone can damage materials, but did so as a last resort. Looks perfect now. Who wants to gift someone something with the whole front scuffed up? Or a collector potentially. Doesn’t look nice. Acetone is such a lovely chemical. I used the equate lavender scented one, smell is less horrible, incase anyone else has this problem. Doesn’t need to sit, simply wet a paper towel and start wiping, keep it off the cardboard, it will ruin that. Need to use multiple, acetone only temporarily melts the adhesive, it comes back once it starts to dry, so you need to change paper towels, as the adhesive will stick to it and start smudging back onto the package from the paper towel. The plastic used in the packaging is acetone friendly and will be fine, dry it off every so often to see how it’s going and are finished. Hopefully others didn’t receive this item just floating freely. If so, hope this helps. Read more
