Great sound but wish they had a side handle.
I tried the EON710's. They sounded great. I loved all of the eqing features. The power button was a little slow to turn on. They were nice and light but they were a little bigger than I had hoped for. I wish they had a handle of the side. The speaker is a bit slippery and with no handle on the side I felt like they could slip out of my hand when lifting them to put on speaker poles. You can't really use the top handle if the pole is higher than your reach. I understand the 12" has a side handle. I ended up returning them and buying QSC CP12's. They are smaller and I already have a matching QSC sub and they were not that much more money. But the JBl's would have worked fine if I had kept them. Read more
missing wired ac plug for the speaker
i ordered a pair of jbl eon 710 and it’s amazing. fast delivery! the only problem i noticed is that the other box was reaped-off and there’s no ac plug going with the speaker, while the other box was very neat and have that wired ac plug for the speaker. in my order, the wired ac plugs was supposed to be included in the box. just asking: "whose responsible for the missing wired ac plug and who will be the one to replace it?" please give me an answer. thanks. Eon 710 is the bomb
I play in a southern rock band, this monitor handles the load great, I am able to hear the vocals clearly and set levels of instruments from fellow band members. We have a footprint of almost 24 feet so hearing the sounds from the other band mates is crucial without blasting the volume so high, we have drums, bass, steel guitar, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and keyboard, so hearing all the parts is crucial.
