If you just want a portable speaker, this is a great one. The sound quality is great. If you are looking for a speaker for your bicycle? Forget it. I went through two replacements before deciding not to even try until JBL redesigns this. The issue is the clip on the back of the speaker that attaches to the bike mount. The hinges on the clip are small and fragile, and they are not up for being attached and removed from the mount every ride, and they are definitely not up for the shake, vibration and jolts of road riding over any distance. Don't even think of taking this on cyclocross or trail riding, you won't make it even a half mile. Cyclists, just keep going. Read more

I bought this speaker for my motorcycle. The item itself is pretty cool and I have no complaints. Unfortunately for me, my pipes are too loud and I can't hear it well unless I'm standing idle. This would be great for a bicycle, scooter or motorcycle with quiet pipes. Read more
