Love the fit of these. Remember these are yoga like material, so expect that. I typically wear a size 12 & got these in a large, which feels very comfortable around the waistline and in the leg length. I can see where these could be worn in a variety of situations & styles- I bought them for working; I’m fairly active & the fit stays comfortable all day. I was looking for a pair of casual slacks and I thought I'd try one with an elastic waist. When the pants arrived, they were very wrinkled from being in the plastic bag packaging. I put them in my clothes dryer for about 15 minutes and they came out perfectly smooth. I was quite impressed! I wore them when I met some friends at a restaurant, so there was a good amount of sitting! They were comfortable and when I stood up to leave, there wasn't one wrinkle on them. Pleasantly sutrprised. The stretch is wonderful, especially in the waist where I need extra room, without making the butt and legs baggy. I am 5' tall, so had to cut off about 1 1/2", I weigh 160 and my tummy is disproportionately larger than my hips and legs. The size L fit snugly, but not indecently tight, so I am please with the fit. They are definitely high waisted, and a petite cut would have been a better fit, but since that isn't an option, these will do comfortably. The fabric isn't thin, but midweight stretch polyester so they won't be warm, so I'll wear them year round unless it's really freezing. -, they are a good addition to my wardrobe as they can be dressed up or down. I'm 74, so I'd prefer they didn't have back pockets and didn't have the belt loops for a smoother and dressier look, so I'll probably remove the loops. Overall, for the price, they are a good deal. The most comfortable pair of pants I own! They are very true to size. I am 5 ft and about 155 lbs. These were a little long, but I knew that when I ordered them. They are perfect with a short heel. The stretchy material is so soft and forgiving! I wouldn’t say these pants are super thick or heavy but they certainly aren’t thin.
