I ordered the Jenna Rose cuff-hem bermuda 5 pocket shorts to replace the pair of white shorts I outgrew this summer. I followed the provided size chart and chose a size 6. I never know what numerical size to order, but I’m pretty confident in ordering a size small when getting bottoms. Even though my waist measurement is larger than what’s indicated on the size chart, I decided to take a chance that the fabric would have enough stretch to be comfortable. I received the shorts and they are a true white, and I couldn’t ask them to fit any better. There is SO MUCH stretch throughout the fabric. The quality of these shorts is good, with no notable flaws. The topstitching is well done, with neat and even size stitches. There are 5 pockets, with riveted studs on the ‘corners’ of the pockets. The four large pockets (2 front & 2 back) are standard pockets, so are deep enough to put smaller items in. I don’t feel the front pockets are deep enough to hold a phone. But, the back pocket will hold a phone, with a portion of the phone sticking out the top. I always wash new clothes prior to wearing them, so these were put in a delicates bag and washed with other new items on the gentle cycle with warm water. I rarely machine dry my clothes, so this was hung on a drying rack and allowed to air dry. They laundered well without shrinking. The only issue I had was that the cuffs on the legs didn’t remain turned up and the cuffs straightened out….except for where they’re tacked at the inside and outside seams of the legs. I pressed them with an iron, and they look ‘good as new’. I really like the way these feel on me….they are very comfortable. I even think they look decent on my odd shaped body. I am short-waisted and the waistband of these come up to just above my belly-button. The length of the shorts come down to just above my knees. One thing I will mention is that the fabric blend of rayon, nylon and spandex give these shorts a different feel to touch. It’s not a bad feel, but the fabric does make ‘noise’ when you rub them, as well as a little bit of ‘noise’ when you walk. I like the fit of the shorts so much that the ‘noise’ doesn’t bother me. But, I thought I’d mention it because some people don’t like that ‘noise’. Aside from that, I highly recommend these shorts. As you can plainly see there is unflattering bunching fabric at the crotch area. Also the sizing seems a bit odd. I normally wear a 12, but I went with a 14 because the size chart indicated a size 14 was for a 34.5" waist. Well, I have a whopping 38" inch waist so I was unsure what to do, but I went with a 14 just in case. I probably have an odd body shape and I am not a fan of things that fit loosely. These fit my legs very loosely but fit around my belly perfectly. My legs are disproportionately small compared to my belly, so my issue with these is more about my own personal size and preferences. Additionally… The waist on these needs to be about 2 inches higher to fit the way I like. As it is it cuts off in the worst spot and leaves the belly overhang thing happening. The shorts are very loose around my legs and hit right at the knee which is kind of annoying when I walk. The back cuff won’t stay cuffed when sitting and then isn’t cuffed after sitting either unless you awkwardly fiddle with it. The seams on the skin-side of the front pockets are scratchy. The front pockets are less than half the normal size, so they really exist just for looks. The fabric is very nice and soft and stretchy though. I love the fabric. The shorts are well made and look like they will last for a long time. They would probably fit very comfortably for someone shaped differently than me. Read more

These are nice, but run small. I normally wear a size 10, but I got the 12 and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable and look nice with a blouse. They wash well and didn't shrink up too much. The material is thick and doesn't breathe very well, but are still comfortable. Read more

These aren't really denim. In fact they look like almost solid navy. They are long. I am 5'8" tall and they come to the top of my knees. They have a very small cuff around the bottoms. There's two pockets in the front but they are very shallow. Not big enough for a phone. There's also two patch pockets in the back. These are a heavy stretch fabric. They do have a wide elastic waistband that fits smoothly. I would not consider them work wear. But they are nice shorts. Read more

Love these so much! Aside from the extreme comfort, they give me a slender look and the length is perfect. The material is thin enough you could fold them up a couple times if you wanted and they may look like they're made that way plus won't get all buldgy. They're conforming but not in an uncomfortable way, they stretch enough to make all your bends and stretches more comfortable and don't overstretch thru the day. They looked so nice in the picture, but the reality is so far off. The material is so slick it's weird. It's shiny polyester and that's just not a look I am fond of. I wore these in California and even with the mid 70's weather I was sweating. I really didn't like the feeling of this material clinging to my legs. They fit as I expected them to, but they hit me right in the middle of the kneecap. This did nothing to compliment my legs. It was just the wrong spot. I'm 5'4". They needed to either be about 3 inches higher or lower. The waist was fine for me, though. I won't be purchasing any more of these. Read more
