I chose this particular Jesus costume as it has more than just a red sash. Here’s what I like: - This costume looks just as expected from the listing and photos. - It's sewn okay for a costume. - It fits about as expected. Here’s what I'm neutral about: - The materials are cheap, but not unexpected for a costume. The main robe is pretty thin and stretchy. The long vest piece is more of a microfiber, and though the seams are finished off, they’re just serged (not folded over). Here’s what I don’t like: - The rope for around the waist is pretty short. I think it would look better much longer. The ends are taped, but not tied off and there isn’t much length to do so. Overall we like this Jesus outfit. Wonderful costume for an adult male or female. We used this to dress as Jesus though, so it fit my size Large husband perfectly. The material was thin enough to be cool for the entire performance. This robe and tunic is made from higher quality fabric than I expected. It is really nice and comfortable – I think it would be comfortable enough for all day wear. The outer robe / tunic is thick and has a velvety feel – almost like curtains. The white inner robe is thick and soft and feels really nice. It fits me well (185lbs 5’7) but it also fits decently on my 100lbs 14-year old son. The rope is nice and thick and soft and goes well – it holds the tunic in place. It's strange that this would be in the costume's category. When in all honesty, most of of the natives in those times really did wear things like these. This would be best fitted for a nightly gown or a general outfit due to its silky touch comfort feel. Read more

Runs small. Go for the largest size! I am 5'9", with a 42" chest. I normally wear either a Medium or Large size. The EXTRA LARGE size has a fit somewhere between Med and Large. Everything else was great! Nice costume, and will be helpful in church plays! Read more

This is made of good quality materials, and is true-to-size. The picture in the description shows what you are getting. I included a photo to show the colors...which are spot-on. We will be using this for a Teenjus costume (from Righteous Gemstones). You get a cool under-dress, a polyester (but heavy-ish) vest robe, and a white rope to cinch the waist.
