This little truggy works great on both pavement and grass. Incredibly fast out of the box. Decent handling. Suspension is quite good. Love being able to adjust the camber and toe. Shock adjustments are also available. Even with out a gyro it tracks straight at high speeds on grass or pavement. Ended up ordering another its so much fun. Bashing the two with the nephew is a blast. It's durable, fast, comes with spare parts that I haven't needed to use yet, but in this hobby it's only a matter of time before any RC, no matter how durable, needs some repairs. Under $200 is a crazy good price for these. A value of a deal for a hobby grade RC car with 2 batteries, a charger, brushless motor, water resistant electronics, decent radio with good response and distance, and plenty of spare parts... if you're in the market for an affordable RC setup it's a no-brainer. These cars are awesome. Runtime at 70% available power is 40 minutes + per battery for my driving style. With the Blomiky 2 Pack 11.1V 3000mAh 33.3Wh 30C Li-Po (ASIN: B0CYCFQW7G) I'm able to run for over an hour. Charging times are 5+ hours with the included charger. Not great, but they do charge the packs. Unlocking the super speed setting on the ESC (5 presses of the set button on the receiver to turn on/off) drastically reduces runtime and increases heat on the motor and ESC by quite a bit, so I don't use it often, but holy cow does it set it up to warp speed! Oh and I should mention that the body has held up really well to the abuse. Love that it has headlights and tail lights... makes using it in the dark to play fetch with dog a snap. The heavy plastic slide strips on the roof keeps it looking tough. I'm shocked that you can get this level of performance and durability at these prices. So much fun. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I've been an RC hobbyist for almost 40 years now, and this is the single best value RC car on the market today, pound for pound. I was so impressed with this little vehicle that I decided to write my first Amazon review in years. I paid full price for this car. It's really that good. Design wise, this is basically a tiny Kraton V5, with the chassis and components laid out very similarly. The metal chassis is thick and basically indestructible , which I can say since mine has been run over at least once with an actual car and not bent at all. The power in this thing is what's really incredible, though. On 3s with the ESC "unlocked", this thing basically goes at light speed. I have actually clocked it yet, but it has to be darn close to 50 mph. But the drivetrain and the suspension are so well designed that, once you get it dialed in, it's an absolute dream to control. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this car. It comes with most of the parts you're going to break first, and a spare body if yours gets run over like mine did. Do yourself a favor and buy this thing. If you're on the fence about getting into the hobby, this is THE perfect entry point. Read more
