This is a really nice jewelry box. It has all the compartments you need for necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings. The only thing I didn't like was that it's a little hard to get to the middle level. It's under the top level but there's nothing to grab onto to remove the top level to get to the middle one. I can fix it by putting a piece of ribbon around the top level to lift it without messing up the jewelry in there. I took off one star for that. Otherwise, I'd buy as a gift . I definitely recommend. Lid closure is good. Good weight. The top 2 levels are secured but the pull out 3rd one isn't so I'd wrap something around it if I were traveling with it. I don't believe this jewelry box is covered in suede and since I am growing weary of the lack of truth in describing a product I have deducted 2 stars. However, the suede-like material is serviceable and not hideous. The drawers do slide in and out reasonably well and the compartments allow for good separation of your jewelry to prevent everything from clanging together getting all scratched and tangled. The price seems reasonable to me; it's not heirloom quality, but with gentle, decent handling it should last for a reasonable number of years. Read more
