Small but big enough to carry essentials like cell phone, coin purse with id & credit cards, makeup compact , lipstick & keys. I love it, got compliments. Detachable cross-body strap clips could stand to be a little stronger for weight support. Otherwise, be mindful of the amount you carry when using the straps or opt for carrying by purse handle. I, too, experienced a problem with the beautiful blue purse I received, which I received many compliments on. The handle unraveled on my second use, also. I purchased in June and missed the return window by 2 days. UPDATED NOTE: The manufacturer graciously provided me a refund after seeing my review. It could have just been a bad lot.
