After reading several reviews (pro and con), and ordered the Jileon boot wide width. I have a wide size 7.5/8 (C/D), high arch and thick ankles. Received my boots, and slipped them on using a shoe horn (as normal). Did I say slipped them on? YES ! No problem getting them on with my high arch and thick ankles. I have another well-known English brand rain boot, however while beautiful, they were a challenge for me to get on and barely fit and difficult to remove (they do not offer a wide-width and so these will be passed to someone else with a regular foot that can fit them). The Jileon boot width is perfect for me and roomy enough if using a thicker sock. Getting them off was easy as well just used my toe to the back of the heel. Super-happy with my purchase and recommend to anyone with a difficult to fit foot. Next rainy day walk with my dog, my feet will be comfortable and dry. Read more
These are probably the best reasonably priced rain boots you'll find that are made for wide feet! I have big feet and larger calves, so I've never really been able to find cute rain boots. This brand is the best I've found! I feel like the sizing is very accurate. I typically have to buy a men's 10 wide or a woman's 11-11.5 extra-wide in shoes. A couple years ago I had bought the ones that came up to the bottom of the calf. On those, I had followed the reviews and bought a size smaller (10 instead of an 11) because everyone said they ran big. They did fit, but when it got cold I discovered that I couldn't wear them with thick winter socks because they were too tight. And trust me, you're going to want thick sock when it gets cool out! These don't have any insulation whatsoever and your feet will get very cold. My other pair finally split at the seam. So... I decided to buy a new pair. This time I went with these short ankle ones. Which I love so much more by the way!!! When I bought this pair, I decided to go with a size 11 since that is my normal shoe size. I couldn't be any happier! They are so much more comfortable than my old pair. My advice is: Don't listen to the reviews that say buy a size smaller and just go ahead and buy your actual shoe size. Yes they are about a half a size too big, but they're supposed to be that way. They are rain boots after all! You want to be able to accommodate different sock thicknesses. I have no issues with them sliding off my feet when I have thin ankle socks on. Keep in mind that these have no support in them, so you're probably going to want to get some inserts. Only reason I gave these four stars instead of five, is because on my second time putting them on, the tab on the back broke off. I'll probably end up cutting the other one off so they match. It's definitely not a deal-breaker, but it is a little disappointing. I would still recommend these to anybody asking about rain boots for wide feet! Read more

I was worried these boots wouldn't fit because of them being extra wide and people commenting on sizing problems. I ordered my boots in the same shoe size I wear (7) and they fit perfectly. I do have wide feet, but I was worried the extra wide would be too much. No problems at all there! I will say that the ankle part fits more snugly than I'd anticipated. But I do have VERY large ankles and calves (close to 22in). There's space to stretch in the ankle with the elastic band being there, so I don't anticipate it being a problem. I'm not sure how they'd handle thicker, taller socks though. I might have to order a size up for winter wear. Another thing I love about them is that the insole is removable. I don't remember reading that in the description, so I wasn't sure what to expect there. The insoles that come with them are soft and squishy and frankly more comfortable than the insoles most shoes come with. However, they aren't really supportive enough for me, so I plan to replace them. They'd work perfectly for those who need less support. Read more
Easy on and off, so comfortable, and well-made. Makes muddy garden work or critter chores hygienic with a quick spray of a hose or stomp in a pan of disinfectant or soapy water. Warm with a pair of thermal socks and wide enough to accommodate thickness. Read more
I love my boots. I wear an 8 1/2 wide in shoes. I followed the sites suggestion and sized down and ordered a size 8. Glad I did. They fit perfectly. Roomy and not tight. The bee pattern is so fun. They are easy to slip on quickly to take dog out in my muddy backyard when it rains. Will see how they work in the rain. Read more
I was so excited about this rain boot since it is for wide feet and calves, has nice style, and appeared to be well made. However, I had two issues that caused me to return the rain boot. 1. The width for both the foot and ankles was good, however, the stiffness of rubber chaffed my leg as I moved. The rain boot was not loose enough to wear socks. I usually wear an 8 wide or 8.5 wide in shoes and purchased an 8 rainboot. 2. The height of the boot at midfoot (highest part of the top of the foot) was not enough for my foot. The top of the boot pressed uncomfortably on my midfoot and made it sore. There is very little give in the rubber. I could have tried a larger size and accommodated socks, but I don't think a larger size would have addressed the height of the boot at midfoot, so they were returned. Read more
