The media could not be loaded. The light/battery/photocell part is a black puck about 3 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick. On one flat side, there is the photovoltaic cell. On the other there is a 3-element LED light emitter, and two tactile-feedback buttons. One controls the on/off function, subject to lighting up only when the surroundings are dark. The other control the light color. It's made entirely of plastic, and the build is fair. It will probably stay in one piece, if not subject to abuse. A transparent dome pressure-fits on the side of the puck with the LED lights. The dome is made of plastic, and is completely faceted, as to give a multiple deflections effect when the lights are on. In the middle of the convex side (i.e. the outside of the dome) there is a round hole where the ground support needs be insertet and pressure-fit (or even glued, no glue provided). So, when fitted on the support, and set to the ground, the dome will be facing downward (towards the ground), and the photocell upward (towards the sky). There are different ground support options provided. One is a soil stake, the other is a flat base with a thin plinth with holes for screws. An opional rod that fits between the support and the hole in the dome allows to select one of two choices for the height above ground of the bottom of the dome. The buttons operate with a clean mechanical feedback. The brightness is adequate to show where you next foot is going if walking in the dark. Estetically, IMHO these are a mixed bag, they can be gaudy. Mechanically, they feel kind of flimsy and to change the setting of the buttons it's necessary to remove the dome. I was hesitant between 3 and 4 stars, and gave it the benefit of the doubt with regard to durability choosing 4. Read more
