This was a 2XL, and was still tight on finger length for first two fingers. Only tried touch-screen feature once, and the results were not impressive, but it could be a learning curve (I might have moved too quickly or not been sweaty enough to make good contact). Other than the above comments, the gloves seem solid, wrist strap is good, and they’re not all “power rangers” looking. Read more

First impressions are they fit pretty good, but there is a line that pulls from the bottom of my thumb to my pointer knuckle that needs a bit more material(see blue circle). Seem on top of fingers is just enough to mess with your fingernail if they fit very close to finger length. I hope they stretch a little as all fingers but pinky are topped out. Also knuckle pad could be about 2-3mm closer to the pointer/middle finger (covers ring and pinky well enough) Read more

Pretty good! They're kind of tight, mediums of other gloves have fit me well and a large barely went on my hand. Other than that, they're nice and breathable and appear to offer quite a bit of protection. Read more

Got them today and I felt like OJ in the courtroom trying to put on the glove. I have had multiple pairs of the Joe Rocket Phoenix 4.0's in Large and love them and they all fit perfectly. These Phoenix 5.1s fit like a medium, so I will size up for the next ones to get an XL, I am assuming they will stretch over the next few weeks as they get broken in but we will see. Actually I wish I would have just bought the 4.0s again as I love those gloves, they hold up well in the heat and are breathable and great in Phoenix summers. But who would have thought that between 2 sequential models they could change in the sizing that much. 2 Week Later Update - after about 5-10 rides they stretched to fit like the 4.0 large size, and I think they have better airflow than the 4.0's. I am glad I did not send them back. Read more

They have held up to some decent abuse, without being quite as armored as other gloves out there. I am very pleased with them, mine fit exactly as intended (I was told these may run a size small so I went bigger). I enjoy how flexible and breathable they are while still offering good protection Touch screen padding needs some work, but not a hug deal to me. Functional but takes a few taps Read more

These Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.1 Hybrid Motorcycle Gloves are very well made and are very comfortable to wear. I've been using these for warm weather riding. They are flexible, breathable and very protective although I have thankfully not have had to test them in that way. The knuckles are armored with TPU and the fingertips and palms are padded. They feel sufficiently protective without being cumbersome. It's still very easy to clutch, brake and throttle. Additionally, the index fingers are smart touch conductive so they are screen friendly. Overall I highly recommend these gloves. When it comes to your health and safety, don't cheap out. Find good value quality gear and invest. Read more

I gave them a 5 star, they’re used for riding my Motorcycle. They’re very comfortable, a little tight & the knuckle part hurt my hand. But as I wore them in they pretty much became 1 of the best M/Cycle gloves I’ve owned. For leather they’re cool (temp) in 95+ temps. Read more

I've had these gloves now for a handful of months and they are great! The fit is perfect, they are very comfortable on long rides, and the "feel" is just right. I've ridden in some hot weather and I haven't had a moment where I felt that they were too hot or got uncomfortable. They probably wouldn't be great as a cold weather glove, but that's not what I bought them for. 👍👍👍 so far! Read more
